Product Description

The RS-3 is synonymous with the Yoshimura name. A member of Yoshimura's product line for years, it has proven itself as one of their signature exhaust systems. The RS-3 muffler offers the traditional performance and style that you can expect from Yoshimura. From fit to finish, each component has been readily tested and race proven from riders of all classes. Each system features U.S.F.S. approved spark arrested insert, as well as full stainless steel construction to ensure complete durability against the rigorous terrain that anyone may encounter. The 2-piece end-cap design offers quick and easy removal / installation of the spark arrested low-volume insert.

The RS-3 Slip-On is an easy way to give your bike the performance, sound, and looks you crave.

Great sounding
i own a 250ex and all my friends say its slow, but with the purchase of this pipe and other products from this site I'm keeping up with some slightly modified 400ex. Great sounding for your money vs. a full system. Definally buying one for my new quad

i bought this exhaust for my trx250ex and it was worth every penny im only 13 years old and i didnt jet the carb yet because i called the company and they said it will not affect the motor if i dont so i didnt jet it yet but when i put that thing on it sounded so nice i dont care what anybody says it gave in instant power right away it makes the bike quicker faster and gives a load of power and torque if you want to buy the slip on or the full system go right ahead if you want a real exhaust you buy this dont waste your time or money with those other exhausts this is the way to go everybody i met on the trails says it sounded sweet my dad took it for a spin and he was smiling in 2nd gear pop a wheelie no prob it gives a nice sound and every weekend i cant wait to ride it its just amazing i cant wait to jet it its goin to fly

Good pipe, bad sound
i got this pipe earlier today and its really simple to put on, and the porformance is amazing, it has so much more low end. you can feel the difference, best thing ever especially for a slip on. But the sound sucks real bad. its not that loud, ive had louder, alot louder, and its not deep at all. i hate the sound but love the porformance.

Not Bad At All
I gave only a 4 because it could be lighter but then you would buy the carbon fiber or titanium model. Definitely still a weight saver over stock. Great sound, gets rid of the stock sewing maching sound for sure. Slight power increase, more if you re-jet. Looks good, easy installation. I also went through Yoshimura and purchased a spark arrestor screen and took out the one it came with. Slight weight saved that way as well. Give it a try, I doubt you will be disappointed.

My friends and I bought three of these exhausts and we bought them for the sound. They did not pass at any SVRA riding areas. I did not like this exhaust but this is just my opinion.

A Great Deal
This exhaust pipe I bought for sound. It also even gives a gain of 3 horse power I could feel the difference when I first gave it a ride. I am truly happy I bought this because it has a nice sound to it , it is deep and even deeper if you take out the spark arrester. When I took out the spark arrester I popped a nice flame! I am very proud in Yoshimura's company they make very nice products. I would recommend this to anybody.

i bought this pipe to make my quad louder first off. it did so. but, i did also notice a decent power gain. its not obnoxiously loud, just deep with a nice bark to it. i would definitely recommend this

This exhaust is forestry approved so the DB's are going to be around 98dbs.

I have the 05' LTZ400 Yosh RS3 comp series stainless, complete sys., I need a new muffler will the RS3 slip on work, or is it made for the stock pipe?

No, the complete system uses a larger diameter head pipe and s-bend. depending on what is wrong with your muffler YOSHIMURA has a service that can repair it for you, I'm not sure of the charges I would contact them at 1-909-628-4722 they are in California
