Havent had a situation where I needed it yet, but its really small and light so its easy to carry on long rides. I did use it once to see how good it would work and the hand pump takes a while to pump up the tire, still good to have though.

THIS PUMP IS AWSOME - IT MAKES FILLING A TIRE A BREEZE. THERES NOTHING LIKE PUMPING THESE LITTLE PUMPS LIKE A 1000 TIMES TO GET THE CORRECT PRESSURE - BUT WITH THIS PUMP IT CUTS THAT DOWN TO NOTHING AND YOU STILL HAVE THE ENERGY TO RIDE INSTEAD OF ARM PUMP AND BEING OUT OF BREATH.

Great Product
I bought this product knowing I could use the CO2 and hand pump. Even though I carry the CO2 in my trail pack, I have never used them. The hand pump works so good. I even put on a new tire and set the bead with the hand pump. Fantastic product.

This pump is roughly 7-8 inches long. This should fit just fine into the HP tool bag.

When you use co2 is the cartridge spent all at once or can you control flow?

I don't believe this pump has a regulator for the CO2. All of the CO2 type pumps that I've seen don't have a way to regulate the air flow.
