terrible
" i bought these to install on my kfx 400 & i had to cut over a square inch off of both sides where it sweeps up in front of the pegs.i purchased the rock brand because i have rock pro nerf bars, well because of the nerf bars the skid plates wouldnt fit properly. i am a journeyman mechanic & own my own shop,so i couldnt imagine the guy expecting a easy bolt on being able to figure out what to do.i will not buy another rock product! Worst skid plate ever
" Dont buy, put on my raptor and I had to drill the holes because it didnt line up, tightened the plate, but it rattled very badly. Spent 15 dollars buying brackets to fix the problem. Buy a AC or Pro Armor "

Rock Skid Plate
" Bought this skid plate for my 05 Predator which was on clearance. It came as a two piece instead of one which is ok. But the bolt kit sent did not work at all! Wrong sizes and there was no bracket for the front of the skid plate to attact to the frame. Went to the hardware store and got all stainless for less than ten bucks. For a clearance purchase it was great. Would never pay full price though. "

" Inexpensive skid plate. No directions came with it, but it was easy to figure out. Had to make a small mod to one of the holes, since it didn't lineup correctly. Well worth the price. "

really worth the money
" i got these for my 05 Z400 and there great. i really like the 2-piece design and it was pretty easy to install only problem is the little flairs on the size didnt fit with my nerfs so i had to cut them off. i agree with the other reviewer, i jump train tracks alot where i ride and they hold up very nicely, i have a few gouges and lots of scratches but all that mean is its doing its job of taking the damage not the undercarage of my quad. great product ,great price
" i got it for my 08 ltz400. it fits nice & went on easy. ive bottemed out on a bunch of stuff no problems. i also hop over the train tracks alot (wich i dont recomend) but when i do i smack that skid plate off the tracks every time & its still holdin up. all the drain holes for my oil line up. plus rock has no stupid vent holes like other skid plates.i mean who cares if it looks cool. its a skid plate. those stupid vent hole just let rocks & sticks in. im tryin to keep em out! ive been beatin the tar outa it all summer. i got a couple small dents & some gouges ,but thers no complaining with what i put it through. thers no comparason for the price. poor design
" Did not fit the holes are like 1/2 or more off. Bolt heads would stickout if it did fit. No hole to drain the clutch fliud. Poor 2 peice design would be lucky to last 1 race. "

smart buy
" I do alot of trail riding in the mountains where it is rocky. I have had rocks crack engine cases in the past. This guard has saved my engine many times. Also it helps with sliding over obsticles such as logs. This skidplate will keep tree limbs from getting wedged between your frame and engine cases. Definitly my smartest buy yet. "
Is there any directions for this skid plate or a website for Rock?

Unfortunately not, if you call in and speak with one of our sales reps they should be able to talk you threw the mounting process.
