Renthal Handlebars - Standard 7/8
zoom: +

Product Description

Renthal 7/8" handlebars re-wrote history when they became the first aftermarket aluminum handlebar to be fitted as O.E.M. on a Japanese motocross motorcycle. All Honda CR/CRF and Kawasaki KX/KXF models (except minis) are fitted with a Renthal 7/8" handlebar as original equipment.

The exclusive aluminum alloy and the advanced manufacturing processes Renthal uses result in a handlebar which is more than capable of withstanding the extreme rigors of motocross and supercross riding and racing.

The following features are integral to the Renthal 7/8" handlebars:

  • 7/8" (22 mm) external diameter to fit most standard-sized clamps and controls.
  • 7010 T6 aluminum - which Renthal has exclusive rights to - is a specially developed alloy for the manufacture of handlebars.
  • High impact strength, lightweight and excellent vibration dampening.
  • Shot peened surface finish to help prevent fatigue failure.
  • Knurling - grip end only - increases bonding between bar and grip.
  • No knurling in clamp area, this could cause stress on the riser and lead to fatigue failure.
  • Anodizing - a 15 step anodizing process forms an integral coating giving protection against corrosion.
  • Renthal's copyrighted, bonded lightweight single bolt clamping system for the cross-brace* greatly increases strength whilst still allowing flex.
  • Laser-etched positioning grid.
  • The highest quality - 35 individual steps / processes required in the production of each bar and 58 separate quality checks made.
  • A specially developed injection-molded crossbar pad is included with every handlebar.

* Note: The cross-brace is fitted to all Renthal 7/8" MX handlebars and the streetfighter handlebars.

What type of bend should i buy if i have a Honda trx 250ex and will just use it for trails and fun.?
MotoSport Staff

Handle bar bend has more to do with preference rather than what is right or wrong. For something similar to what came stock on a 2007 TRX250EX I would look at the 400EX bend.

What bend matches a 2001 Honda cr 250?

You can run the CR High, which wouldn't be terribly tall. Also the McGrath bend would be close to the stock setup.

I have a 2013 drz400 and would like just alittle taller bar when standing in the woods,i am 5-8 tall.dont no what the stock one compare to?

I would suggest selecting the CR HI bend. These won't be too tall for you but taller than the stock OEM bars on your bike.

try the jimmy button bend. i stand a lot on my xr650 and am about your height and they are perfect

The "CR High" will be closest out of the selection we have for the 7/8" Renthal Handlebars.

What bend what I need to for my 86 trx250r?
MotoSport Staff
2 months 25 days ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
The "bends" are personal preference and can very depending on what you are looking for. I suggest something like a ATV Mid if you are looking for a style close to the stock bend.

I would recommed the CR High bend. Very high, and has moderate pull back as you state.

What bars have the least pull back and rise bars in 7/8"?
I am looking for bars with the least amount of pull back and rise. I liked my KTM stock bars. But now ride a Honda with stock bars and 7/8" mounts.

The Charmichael bend has the least pull back, at 54mm.

2006 CRF450R?
What would be the closest to the stock bars on the '06 CRF450R. Also, what might a good choice be if I wanted to go just a little higher than stock? Thanks!

That bar was made specifically for a Suzuki's pre 2002 (96-01 RM12/250). MotoSport.com does not stock that bar, but it can be ordered if you choose. you will need to give the sales team a call to proceed, 888-676-8853.
