Great performance upgrade..

I installed this on my '05 crf 250. i honestly expect more of a power increase. Its not as good as i had thought but it makes a difference. And the best part is.... IT CAME WITH FREE STICKERS!!

Best investment yet

The power gain with this product was just what i was looking for. I installed it into an 09 crf450r and immediately felt the difference. After about half throttle, the bike really begins to pull and the power never seems to drop. It didnt come with any instructions for taking the decompression flange off the stock cam and installing it on the new one but its not too hard to figure out. I highly recommend this product to everyone.

Awsome

easy installation and big power gain. although the order took longer than 3 days it was worth it

Yes, Hotcams would be a great option to get increased performance from your bike. If you don't already have one I would also recommend a fuel programmer to help tune your bike for the best performance possible.

Which is better for a crf150r, stage 1 or 2 of the hotcams?
MotoSport Staff
Both are great, It all depends on where you would like more power. The stage 1 will boost midrange horsepower, and give substantial torque gains on your motorcycle or ATV engine, the stage 2 will boost the midrange and top end horsepower and increases over-rev on motorcycles and ATVs.

Does this cam Shaft need to be degreed?
I was wondering if the Hot Cams Stage 2 cam shaft need to be degreed?
MotoSport Staff
Over 7 months ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
It may be a good idea to verify the degree on the cam for any errors if you have the ability to do so. Although these are supposed to be preset from the factory.

How many can you put in a 05 400ex?
MotoSport Staff
Over 7 months ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
For the Honda TRX400ex you can only use one cam. The motor only came stock with one and you cannot add additional cams. Make sure to profile your ATV properly when ordering so you receive the correct came specific to your application.
