Great Prevention
After suffering a seperated shoulder, which was minor, my strength was down, I was recommended to purchase this brace. I am fully healed now but still wear it for piece of mind. Gives great support, fits well, washes well, I've had it a year and it's still in great shape

Not ment for serious shoulder injurys
You can tell when you put it on it does support the shoulder but thats all it does. It doesn't actually hold the shoulder in the socket. I recommend if you have had one or two dislocations it'l be great but any more go for the sbo3 or new sbo4.

Worth the Investment
It fits great but hint don't go by the sizing chart on here. It says if your waist is so big go by that size but when you receive the box it says go by the measurement of your chest. I got a small b/c I went by the sizing chart on here, I now have to exchange it for a medium. Other than that, it's definitely worth protecting your shoulder or collarbone.

This does provide shoulder support. Every injury can vary, but this should help out at some level.

When ordering this does it matter what shoulder?
When ordering this shoulder support, does it matter which shoulder i use it for? Also i have broken my collarbone and was wondering if this would actually help me when i am able to ride again?

it does not matter what shoulder you use it on. i dislocated both my shoulders and this product worked well to get me back on the bike.
