Heavy weight
Purchased this axle to replace the stock one which had bearings welded into the axle. This particular Dura Blue is substantially heavier which if you need it to be strong Im sure it is plenty durable. Pros - the threads for the axle nut are protected much better than stock. Accidental drop will most likely not damage them. It feels super heavy duty. Cons- It does not look like the photo upon ordering. It is not chrome and there is no "Durablue" Sticker on it. The weight.

Great axle
great axle, very strong, have came came up short on 80 foot double did not bend!!!!!!! very happy with it but it does not come with the sprocket hub like it shows in the picture at least for yfz450 . so you will have to buy one, or use the stock one.

I need an axle for a 1986 Honda TRX 250R ; any sugestions?
Can't seem to locate an axle --- discontinued? Too good of an old machine to not ride. Where do I find an axle?

The Honda TRX250R is still a very popular quad and you do have options for axles for your 1986 model. The two that we offer are the Durablue Eliminator axle 2+2, and the Lonestar Axcalibar racing axle. Both are great axles and both come with lifetime warranties against bending and breaking.

I ride trails and some track would this be sutible for these applications?

This axle would be great for out on the trails or on the track. Especially if you are hard on your ATV. These axles can stand much more abuse than the stock one.

what is ment by non-jumping? i have an 06 yfz and like jumping and i get pretty good air (70ft jump and want to expand) would this stand up to that or not?

This axle will not hold up with the type of riding you do. I'd suggest the axcaliber axle by LSR.

Will my stock sproket, rotor, and axle nuts fit this axle?
I wrecked my 450r and bent the axle and was just wandering whether my other parts would fit on this axle or if I would have to buy a rotor and and sprocket and the dura blue axle nut.
MotoSport Staff

Yes your stock axle nuts, sprocket and rotor will work just fine with this axle.
