" went with the standard chain. was priced well and seems to work good. stretched out quite a bit from the first two rides but tightened her up and she works great. rolls alot easier than an o-ring or x-ring and was way cheaper but just a personal preference. "

Durable, Reliable, and Inexpensive
" I ride in some of the most punishing terrain for bikes and riders! From rocks, shale dirt, sand mix clay mud, and even burnt tire bandings, this terrain will ruin an aluminum sprocket and O-ring chain set in a matter of days. But the JT steel sprockets and DID's tried and true standard chain hold up to the test of time. Yes, they weight more, but I'd rather have the extra ounces than push my bike back to the truck! "

ahh...
" its an okay chain, pretty much for 35 bucks you dont totally lose, if you race do not buy this its a chain that you can use in an emergency, but only for trail riding. but if you need a cost effective chain this is it. if you can a 250 or smaller it might work better, but it stretches on an xr400 every other ride. "
What is the weight of this chain, how much less than stock? And also, does it come with a master-link, or is it sold seperate? Thanks.
Asked by Goober
Unfortunately we don't have the specs on the weight for that chain. I'd say it's probably about the same as the OEM chain maybe a hair lighter and yes it does include a master-link.
Answered by Drewski, Portland, OR
im not sure of the weight but a master link comes with this chain and for some reason it would not fit so i bought another master link
