Decent CHEAP chain I guess?
" I suppose I can't fault the chain cause I was bein cheap. Got the "Heavy Duty" thinking it would last longer than the regulars, but my YZ450F stretches the heck out of it everytime I ride it. Spec is 40-50mm of slack in chain I've gone to setting it just under 40mm and it stretches past 50mm after every ride! My advice is to spend the extra $50 and get a nice o-ring chain if you have a hot 450, would probably last a long time on a stock 250 though. Never had so much trouble getting a master link to snap together, don't know why either? "

" just for the information if you read the think called instructions that come with the chain your supposed to wash off the wax (oil like) coating off of the chain in mineral spirits before install that stuff is only on there from the manufaturar to prevent rusting while it is still in the box. that stuff can severely shorten the life of your chain. " Well the shipping didn't take long and when i received the chain, it was well lubed and ready to install. i have a 2004 KX250F with allot of engine modifications. so its pushing about 38-40HP with tire shredding torque and i was really surprised to see this chain last me as long as it did. which was about a month because the sprocket snapped and broke a few links.. O-ring chains will cause drag compared to a non O-ring chain. It's not enough that you would probably notice it. If you want a chain that will last longer, get the o-ring. If the chain drag isn't something you want, get a non O-ring.
