This grips are great, have them on three of are atv's. we do alot of winter riding in rain and snow. Hands stay warm. The only thing is they should come with the glue that you need to install them.

Good grips for cold
These were a good buy, i do trail rides alot and mostly wen its cold. Whenever i ride my hands are always freezing, not after i bought these grips. These puppies keep my hands nice and warm when riding in the cold. They are also oversized and have good grip.

Smokin Warm Grips
This is one of the best purchases that I have made for my ATV. If you do any cold weather riding this is a must have. It has two settings a low and a high. I start out in high then click down to low after my hands warm up. You can even feel the warmth right through gloves. I have also left them on while stopped and it doesn't run down the battery. I used epoxy glue to install the grips and the wiring was a no brainer. Cold weather is coming so get them now...you won't regret it.

Do u just run the wire to the battery without coverin the wire or does it have covers for them?

You would need to route wires in protected\safe areas zip tying as you go, and could go to your local auto parts store and buy some split loom to make for a clean install.

Modification?
The ATV I have has handlebar mirrors that attach to the end of the handlebars through a hole put in the end of the grips and into the handlebars. Is this modification possible on the heated grips without damaging the heating mechanism???

Normally all the wiring for the heating system is in the main part of the grip not on the end where your bar end mirror would go. You would most likely need to cut the end of the grip off in order to run the mirrors. I would contact Cycle Country to see if any other modification is required. 800.841.2222
