Bought the Athena kit as a base to start a stroker build on my '07 LTZ 400. The Athena kits are really high quality, and have been around a long time. You will not be disappointed..

Does this kit come with jetting recommendations?

It should in the instructions but depending on what you have already done tone your bike I would recommend contacting a local shop for jetting specs.

Yes, you will have to re-jet. The need for fuel will increase.

There are 2 base gaskets in the kit. Which gasket should I use to achieve the 12.3 to 1 comp. ratio?

I know when I install the Athena bigbore kit on a YZ125 it came with three base gaskets. Athena had in the instructions a piston to head clearance. measure both gaskets before installing any of them, what I did was go with the thin one then did the measurements as instructed and found that it was to tight by measuring before installing you will know once you measure if you need to swap one add both, I had to add a combination of the three gaskets to get the proper clearance.

If i buy this kit would i need to get a bigger carb or radiator or what other mods whould i need?

This kit is pretty much a direct bolt on, so a larger carb and radiator isn't needed. You will have to dial in the jetting a little bit after installing this set up but thats about it. Down the road you can always pick up the Stage 2 Cams and then you'd have a solid set up with good mid and top range power.

this will not give you a lot more horse power but it will give you alot more torque. this will give you mostly bottom and midrange kick.
