Do not fit aftermarket bars
The hard guards look cool but ... 1. they don't connect to the bars on both ends which to me is a big negative. They can and will bend if you go down 2. The end pugs do not fit in after market bars. At least not on my Pro Tapers. There are no specs about the plugs so no one can figure out what other size to order to make them work. The bottom line is that this purchase has been a complete waist of my time and now I have to return them.

A very stylish hand guard
So I bought these hand guards for my 07' YFZ450. The hand guards are awesome looking, I feel like these were made for the 450 just because of the lines and the style of the guards, they match with the lines of the 450s' in my opinion. The way they mount is indeed cleaver, BUT, the fact that the only part they mount to is your handle bar end makes it very easy for them to move up and down, no matter how tight i tightened the bolts on the ends i was still able to barely move the guards up and down. To me this is really no big deal but it could be to some. Would i recommend this to a friend or fellow rider, yes. But not before I explain this flaw. All in all, they do a great job protecting my hands, I've hit some pretty good size branches and they are deflected pretty smoothly. And on the sand I can ride with no gloves and not feel like my hands are being sand blasted.

Not bad
The hand guards are very slick looking, but I wish they had a little bit better was of staying tight, I usually have to move them up or down back to get them back into position after riding.
