Awesome Tires
Just got these tires on the back of my yfz 450r and they made a huge difference over stock. They hookup really good and make the quad handle like a whole different machine. Overall the best tire ive ridden yet.

Hooked up!
The rear mxr6's hook really hard on my 05 trx. So much that i have a hard time with keeping the front end down! If it does slide in the corner it is very controllable. This is my second pair after three years and i would say thats pretty good. They still had good traction even at the end of their life. Better than some other comparable tires new. The trick is to stay off the road and they will last.

Hook up hard
These tires hook hard, just ran them at an arenacross on my Cannondale and had forgotten how well tires could hook. They do wear pretty quickly on hard pack but for the drive they give it is worth it for me. ITP tires are always one of my favorites for my quad.

Great traction!
These things HOOK UP! Tire compound reduces wheel slip. Make sure you're on soft dirt though. If you have a powerful 4-stroke and your track gets hard packed kiss these babies good bye. Over all great tire!

Itp always delivers
these tires hook up like no other. predictability in turns where races are won is what makes them out perform the rest. I have run many of the other brands out there but, I always come back to holeshot mxs!

Okay
These are awsome if you only race on mx tracks that arent hard packed. I went to the local track and it was hard as a rock but i also rode in some woods. after i got home i looked at my tires an the knobs were gone. i wish i couldve gotten my money back or had gotten Maxxis Razar's. but they were good on the track.

Whats the difference between 2ply and 6 ply?
MotoSport Staff
Over 3 years ago Location: P+RTLAND
The thickness of the tire. A 2ply wont be as thick as a 6ply
Over 3 years ago
tire thickness, a higher ply of tire will usually take alot longer to wear a softer tire like a 2ply would wear pretty fast.

I have stock tires on my 400 ex and they are 20 10 9 will these fit?
i have stock tires on my 400 ex and they are 20 10 9 will these fit
MotoSport Staff
Over 4 years ago Location: P+RTLAND
They will fit, but they will be about 2in shorter than stock.
all depends on ur wheel size, if ur stock wheels are a 9" diameter then yes, if there an 8" they wont, the first number is height, the second is width, the last number is your wheel size.i think stock wheels are a 9" so any other tire in a 9"wheel will work so a 18x10x9 for ex will fit.or buy a set of wheels and do whatever you want!
