  • Thor packed the 50/50 boots with features which makes them light, stylish, and rugged. Weighing in at a mere 27 ounces make these boots less than half the weight of a standard boots.
  • Thor built these boots with adjustable positive-lock aluminum buckles for safety and durability.
  • Integrating a plastic shank insert for foot peg support, and an integrated toe cap/shift protector, Thor made the 50/50 boots with durability in mind.

" Got these for Christmas. They are really nice boots. I had previously tried on some full length MX boots and Fox Comp S and these boots are much more comfortable. Good range of adjustment, aluminum buckles. Great Ankle support. I have really wide feet and I ordered a 1/2 size larger than I wear in normal shoes and they feel great. Great buy for someone who preferes a shorty boot! "

" Good fit and great performance, love the short boot. I've worn full size boots and you lose the feel and accuracy of trying to shift on an ATV. These are a great middle ground. Buckles work great and no discomfort while riding, good adjustability. Only problem I have is where they hit my fender they get caught up..but thats not the boots fault. Good excuse to race-cut my fenders. "

" Perfect for riding quads. really comfortable to wear. nice to walk around in compared to full boots. i wouldn't recommend them for bikes. i did a few laps around a vintage track and i felt the big bumps in my heals and it didn't feel to great. that's why i recommend them for atv riders since you're not digging in the dirt. "

" I bough these for pit bike riding. I am really pleased with how these work while riding my pit bike. They have the flexibility and support that works excellent for this type of riding. I wear normal riding boots when riding the big bike but they are way too bulky for the little bike. The ankle support and sole strength is great couldn't imagine riding the little bike without them now. "

" I ride mostly in Fl. and mostly trails ,I have two ATVs (1) a Yamaha Raptor 700R (2) a Suzuki Vinson LTF500F These boots are great on either one of my quads. I go for hours at a time with no problems at all. I am pretty brutal on my gear but I take care of it and these boots are holding up just fine ,I have had them for about 6 months , About a dozen riding trips with very little signs of wear.GO AHEAD AND GET YOU A PAIR!!! Ripped Medial Side After 2 Weekend
" I bought this boot looking for the "Weekend Warrior" characteristics. They felt good for the first weekend, but after the second weekend the right boot tore. I do not race and I am not a hardcore rider. I am mad that they fell apart after 2 weekends of riding. These should hold up to normal kick starting, but they don't!. DON"T BUY these for dirt biking as you will be disappointed in their wear life. "

" wow these things look and feel nice! i personally am going to stick to my regular thor mx boot for the riding, jumping, and wrecking i do in the dirt and sand (more protection and coverage) but i throw them on every now and again when i dont want the bulkiness. i purchased these boots to wear while riding my supermoto. they beat any other i was considering and look better as well. they are comfortable to walk around a bit in also beats a full size boot. great buy for the street, i would consider a full size boot for the dirt if your a hard rider. " Bought these to wear when I ride my KLR650. There are two major problems with this item. The first being that they are oversized by about one size. In other words, if you think you need a 12 you'll probably want to buy an 11. The second problem is that they are too big to comfortably fit under the shifter. All in all, I'd consider another option before spending so much money on these. "

" Bought the Thor 50/50 boots for commuting to work. New fit was very good, and new boot stiffness stuck around a little more than a month. No prob with buckles, abrasions and just a little shifter smudge. Sox are dry in light to medium rain. Fair ankle protection and stiff foot bed. Soles are slippery on fresh ATF or wet intersection lines. Wish list: Foot bed could use a little more cushion and I'd like to see a higher ankle cuff with a third buckle. "

Great Riding Boots!
" Got these for wearing on the street while riding my motard and sportbike. I was looking for something that offered good protection, good comfort, and didn't look like I was going to the race track, or for a cruise thru da hood...And the 50/50s fit the bill. They offer more ankle coverage than any street boots I've come across, no laces to worry about!!, and plenty comfortable for walking around w/o looking like a hump or a homey. They hold up great to abuse too. Definitely a satisfied customer! "

Multi-Purpose Boot
" I was actually looking for a more supportive boot to wear while riding on the street. This caused me to try on numerous units from Icon, Alpinestars, and Sidi. In the end, the majority of those units felt heavy, bulky, and very few fit as securely as I like, similar to a motocross boot. Then I tried these on. The buckes were solid, and these seem to offer a very reasonable level of protection from whatever I may encounter on the pavement. They cost roughly what some entry point Icons cost, but I think they provide a much more secure fit and finish. Try them out and you may be surprised. They are good for more than riding pitbikes. And comfortable enough to wear around like regular hiking boots if you so choose. "

They'll hold up to splashes alright but once you get into a lot of water I'm sure you'll get some leaks.

They run a little big. I recomend a 9 for you. I wear a 10.5 or 11 running shoe and I have the size 10, they fit great.
