• MSR provides an easy way to get set up for motocross racing with the durable and inexpensive VX1 boots.
  • The MSR VX1 boots are constructed out of durable genuine leather, the same materials racing boots have been made out of for years.
  • Polyurethane panels have been added to the VX1 boots to step up protection that stretches from the front to back on the inside and a panel at the outside.
  • A thick rubber outer sole with a steel top cap on the VX1 boots provides a durable and safe platform with traction.
  • Riding hard means taking impact so MSR added reinforcement to the interior of the VX1 ankle.
  • MSR applied a split leather panel on the upper inside section of the VX1 boots for heat and abrasion resistance.
  • High quality 2-stage latching buckles ensures the VX1 boots keep tight during your bone pounding rides.

Great boot for the price!!!
" Mine saved my leg the first summer I had them. Leg got sucked up in rear tire during a really hard 4th gear crash. Boot provided super protection and I didn't get a scratch on my leg. Sharp looking boot, great price, only down fall is the sole will start breaking down after a few years, but you will get your money's worth out of them. "

2009 MSR VX-1 BOOTS
" I thought that they were worth the $90 they work superb for dry dirt but if you go riding in mud, water or any thing in between not a good choice cause they leak i had only gone riding once for a couple hrs and then it rained went riding in the mud and found out they leaked so for $90 bucks not to bad "

MSR Adult 13 Boots
" Very Very Comfortable, the ONLY boot that is 13 WIDE! and not squeezing our big feet, get this and a HammerHead shift Lever/Tip. These boots have out lasted my Berik,Fox and Fly and I will only buy these. I really like the MSR MST WHITE boot, my favorite. I like the VX1 for practicing. THe beriks took FOREVER to break in. I could go all day in these boots without sore feet from being squeezed. I hammer these boots every weekend racing from Hard Pan dirt to Mud they do it all, thank you MSR. The clothes are just as good. "

good beginner boot.
" ok, where to start. these boots are just what i would expect from a pair of 90.00 boots. there not horrible but not great. it took almost 3 months to get these boots broke in to where i could even bend them. there big and bulky if your riding a bike with a little shift lever. but i really wouldnt recomend these to people. msr sells a boot called the mxt and its 2 times as good. i would spend the extra 40 or however much.i now own alpinestars and would never switch to any other brand. I would recommend these too anyone with a strict budget! "

Bang for the buck
" Since i was in a really short budget, i decided to buy the MSR VX-1. as soon as i put them on, i felt that they were really comfortable and this feeling didn't go away as i started riding with them. Even though it has plastic straps, they lock in very well and they never feel loose or too tight when adjusted. I totally recomend these boots because they look very good and work even better. So, it you need a comfortable and fuctioning boot with a limited budget, the MSR VX-1 is the solution!!! "

" these are my primary riding boot. they broke in after 2 days of riding and are very comfortable to ride all day in. solid construction and quality found in a much more expensive boot. "
what sizes do these come in?
Asked by kanizz
Men's 7-14.
Answered by james718
if i wear a size 10 and a half regular shoe, what size do i need in these boots?
Asked by newbie
You would need a size 11 since these boots dont come in half sizes.
Answered by Drewski, Portland, OR
should u order a size big or will it fit like a regular shoe
Asked by motoracer452
Normally MSR's sizing is true to fit so you would want to go with the closest size to your regular shoe size. If you run a half size, round up,
Answered by Drewski, Por+land
I ordered down 1/2 size and mine was too big
Answered by eddiek
i got mine from my local dealer but mine are a size smaller...i wear a size 9 in shoes but my vx1's are a size 8 and fit perfectly

quick and easy break in
Asked by Leighton, IN
The only way to break them in is to do what you're doing. Some take longer than others.
Answered by james718, Portland, OR
I wear a size 11 in regular shoes should i order a size up-down or r they true to size
Asked by CRF100ridr, Kentucky
These Boots run true in size.
Answered by james718, Portland, OR
if my work boots are size 10 are the msr vx-1's the same size because my shoe is a 10 1/2
Asked by BShoulla, plymouth,ma
If you're a size 10.5 I'd suggest going up to size 11.
