Product Description

AC Racing's new MX Peg designs are no different then any other Nerf on the market when it comes to the concept of safety and rider protection. What they offer with the MX Peg Nerf series, is easy installation. No more drilling to mount them to the foot pegs (a couple of models still require drilling for the front mount). They now have their own stand-alone foot peg that can be used without the Nerf Bars attached. MX Pegs also have a new net design that runs the full length of the bar, instead of a welded skin that can rattle, catch mud and limit the riders foot area. The MX Peg has an adjustable net area around the heel guard area. Cleaning is a breeze and riders who have bigger boots should feel more comfortable since our heel nets can be adjusted for comfort! All in all, the MX Pegs with Nerf Bars simply offer the rider much needed protection, comfort, and performance while riding.

Very sturdy
I decided to buy another set of ac nerfs because I got tired of welding up my name brand nerfs that I had. I had used ac in the past and they have always been very strong with no failures. This new style allows plenty of foot room unlike some of there earlier designs. The footpegs also bolt up differently wich makes them very sturdy with no wobble. The only complaint I would have is that the black powder coat could be thicker. In the past there powdercoat would flake off and that has been no issue with these. Overall I love these bars and would definantly recomend even compaired to a set of 500 dollar rath or houser nerfs.
Overall
Terrible buy
There is a reason that these nerf bars only cost 300$ dollars. The food pegs are cheap, bendable, have a terrible welding job and are made out of cheap stainless steel instead of quality aluminum. The mounting holes for the foot pegs and the brackets do not even come close to matching up. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra 120$ and get a nice pro armor or GYTR pair.
