Raptor 700 needs this Tire set
"In summary, "f'n awesome!". Well worth the money.. I replaced both front and rear tires. Great slide, great slow lug, tight turn in, great in all terrain for a 2012 raptor 700. Pair these tires with the suspension tweaks built on to the raptor and it is by far the best handling quad i've ever been on. If you are running stock tires and stock suspension settings, you are completely missing out on an excellent combination; the raptor 700r and the maxxis razr2."

Great tire
Great tire all around. I race xc and it gives you very good traction. I've ran both Maxxis rzr's and the rzr 2's. Both great tires. Either one will do the job

Mediocre
Lots of tread but for the price I would go with the ITP HD they are a better all around tire! Razr doesn't grab well on hard pack soil!

It's best to stick with the stock sizes but yes, a smaller tire is lighter weight so it it will improve power a little.

How would these tires performe in sand and soft pack dirt?
MotoSport Staff

They do pretty good in sand and softer dirt. They have a decent lug depth on them for a pretty solid hook up so they should be alright.
