Worth it
i had one on my 05 yz125, and when i got an 09, it migrated to that bike. this thing works. my 125 will deliver more power with less throttle and clutch. increases power when throttle is less than 50% open, and its noticeable. on a 125 its just wide open on moto, so id recommend it to woods racers who ride 125s

Nothing great
I didn't notice any real difference. Also it some how got bent a little after about a year. I didn't like how it matched up to the carburetor. It didn't look free flowing. Your bike would be faster with a new back tire instead of this.

Expensive, but it works
I was skeptical about this product. I installed it in my previous bike, a 2002 KTM 250sx, and the throttle response from 0-50% was greatly improved. I honestly couldn't believe it. If you have an older 2 stroke, like I had, it will make it pull off the bottom nearly as well as a new 2 stroke. I'm buying one for my new KTM!

Really good
i bought this system a couple of months ago and it did exactly what it says it does. it increases the power from bottom to mid range. one of the best products you can buy for 100 bucks for sure. this goes best with a K&N x stream airfilter

U got to try it!
I installed this part on my 07 Outlaw 525 that had a slight bog on the low end, and it did exactly what they claimed it would! What you ask? It totaly woke up my low to mid throtle response, with a snappy and crisp response. I couldn't be happier with this product. Now my quad truely is SCARY FAST!!!!!!!!

Does this give more power to 2 strokes or 4 strokes.?
For example: the difference it makes to keep air filter clean on 2 stroke than a 4 stroke

These units have nothing to do with keeping the air filter clean.

Is re-jetting the Carb a must do?
what are the signs of this making my kx250f need rejetting? popping or smoke or what? Basically if i dont re jet what r the downsides

This shouldn't alter the air/fuel mixture enough to cause the bike to be rejetted. The experiences I've had with this item is making sure its seated properly in the carb, or otherwise you'll get an air leak causing the bike to not run properly.

Is their two different ones one for each side of the carburator?

Depending on the model of the bike, there's this power now and the Power now plus. The power now plus is not available for every bike. http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/product/POWER-NOW-PLUS/?catalogId=108915

Starting?
I have an '01 yz 426f and It's probably the hardest bike to start after I stall or it gets warm when I jsut pull it out of the shed it starts one kick. will this help cool it and make it easier to start warm? If not what will? any suggestions

The Power Now will not add any cooling or starting ease. There's not much you can do for the bike. It's just a bear to start.

Do you need to rejet the carbureator?

It's recommended to double check the jetting after doing any carb mod.

Will this work on a aftermarket carb on my 05 trx 450r, such as a FCR 43mm?
MotoSport Staff
Over 4 years ago Location: Por+land
You would have to order the power now that is for whatever the carb originally goes on. I would contact Scary Fast for a solid answer on this one.

Are you able to use the power now with the v force 3 reeds?
i was woundering if it would be possible to use both
MotoSport Staff
Over 4 years ago Location: Por+land
I don't see why the two wouldn't work together.
Over 4 years ago Location: pittsfield
yes you can the power now connects to the airboot side of the carb and the vforce 3 system connects to the engine other side of the carb.

How does it work?
How does it work
MotoSport Staff
Over 4 years ago Location: Portland, OR
You slip the blade into the intake side of the carb and the blade basically forces the slow moving air through the carburetor once you hit 1/4 turn on the throttle. So it basically just forces the air through the carburetor much quicker to get a more efficient air fuel mixture in the cylinder.

How much horsepower will i gain?
are they worth the amount
MotoSport Staff
Over 4 years ago Location: Portland, OR
Horse power gains very depending on what you have done to the bike. It's worth the investment though just for the fact that it quickens up the throttle response quite a bit.
