Maier Rear Fender - Yamaha

I ordered this fender for my YFZ 450 and it fit just like the factory one did. Easy installation and looks great as well. I couldnt ask for better results.

I purchased the white Maier front and rear plastic for my wife's 2009 Raptor 700 and they fit horribly, I was very disappointed. The mounting tabs for the rear are completely different than OEM, they have metal 'L' brackets and you put the screw right through the top of the fender. Also on the rear there is no pocket under the seat for a toolkit, only the electronics. The front was even worse, besides more brackets and screws you have to bend and twist this stuff to get it mounted. I finally reached my last straw when the section of plastic down by where your thigh was flared out like 2 inches from the frame (its supposed to be flush with the frame). I called Motosport and they took it back, full refund with no restocking fee. I ended up getting the OEM plastic from Motosport and to my surprise it was cheaper than Maier. I originally didn't even price out the OEM because I assumed it was double the price, I guess next time I'll do more homework... Lesson Learned. The picture with this post is how my wife's machine looks now with the new OEM plastic and pink tribal flames AMR Graphics decals.
