Moose 2 Stroke Pipe Guard

I am on my third vintage mx restoration and this pipe guard is on all three bikes 1974 Honda CR125M , 1975 Bultaco 250 Pursang and 1975 Bultaco 360 Pursang. All three bikes have down pipes and take a lot of hits and this guard works excellent in protecting them! I have raced for 33yrs and have been riding for 45yrs. Ride on! Shawn Phelps

Pipe Guard

Good Product, take your time installing. Start from middle and keep moving clamps out to get proper fit

Pain to install, worth the effort

Bought one of these to wrap around my brand new Gnarly. It was a major pain to bend to fit the pipe, but after it was all said and done, I'm glad I put it on. I know this won't stop all pipe damage, but I figured if I could spread the impact from a rock to more of the pipe, we'd all be better off. I had to buy a larger cable clamp for the big end. It also makes the bike look better and everyone will think you're an expert hare-scrambler.

Way too thick to fit to bike

This would take hours to bend and manipulate this guard to fit my pipe. I have a '13 KTM 200xcw and there is no way I will get this thing to fit right. I wanted to save some $ instead of getting a carbon fiber guard but now I will trash this one and get a carbon fiber guard that fits.

01 kx65

this guard is very heavy duty and looks great, only issue I had was its very hard to bend, I had to heat and pry and hammer just to form shape but after done I was very pleased. since I only have a kx65 I had to cut some off of it cuz its to long but over all glad I bought it

A decent product

This pipe guard arrives shaped like it's made to fit a baseball bat. It's straight length wise and each individual "fin" is curved to much. You have to bend it to fit your pipe. I've seen some people say it took them 3 hours to complete the installation because it was so hard to bend. It took me a little over a half an hour using a rubber mallet, gloves (you will cut your hands if you don't) and my foot. Once I got it shaped decently enough, I used the hose clamps to mold the fins to the pipe. Your pipe will get scratched. My pipe is rattle canned with black header paint so it's no big deal. It's not as attractive as it is in the picture (dull course aluminum look) and it's not a bolt on product, but it will protect your pipe from the small dents you'd otherwise get from laying your bike over and seems sturdy enough.

Pipe Gaurd on FMF SST Pipe

This gaurd comes straight and will require you to bend it to shape. This can be a little tricky to bend as it is not a flamsy piece of metel, but once formed to your pipe it works great and is worth the investment.

Great Product Great Quality

I got one of these to fit on my new Pro Circuit Platinum 2 pipe also purchased from MotoSport. It fitted great, and looks great, the only thing I did was go to my local hardware and bought a couple more clamps to fit it better. Thanks MotoSport.
