The new RS line is unlike any on the market today. The rubber / solid design is the best of both worlds.

  • Superior system to the previous conical-shaped bushings.
  • Proprietary urethane elastomer bushings provide excellent vibration damping characteristics; this strong and abrasion-resistant formula withstands over 2200 PSI.
  • The elastomer bushings are contained in machined pockets on the top clamp, then precision machined.
  • Stainless steel collars are inserted into the elastomer bushings providing a mechanical restraint while still isolating the bar mounts from vibration.
  • The bar mount is then secured with a strong grade 10.9 bolt.
  • The proper torque secures the bar mount and pre-loads the elastomer bushings; pre-load ensures the bushings completely fill the pockets and isolate the bar mounts.
  • Also included in the kit is a set of 6061 aluminum bushings; these precision machined solid bushings fit into the pockets in place of the elastomer bushings and create a solid mount system.
  • For oversized bars.
  • Feature offset mounting holes for adjusting handlebar location.
  • Top it off with the included one piece bar clamp to tie both mounts together and you have a twist-free rubber or solid system.
  • Includes R/S top triple clamp, R/S bottom triple clamp, elastomer and solid bushings, bar mounts, one piece bar clamp, and hardware.
  • Made in the USA!

Fixed the 2014 YZ450F under steer

The 2014 & 2015 Yamahas have one flaw in my opinion - under steer where the bike wants stand up in the corners and needs to be pushed into the entry of the turn. Once in the turn the bike turns great.
These 20mm offset clamps (stock is 22mm) fix the under steer completely and the bike now loves to enter corners and stays in the groove allowing me to rail the outside of the corner. I also did not notice any noticeable change in headshake during high speeds which I expected. This clamp set-up gets my double thumbs up : )

As good as OEM

Fit and install went just like the OEM parts would have at less cost. I only have about 400 miles on them but so far so good.

MotoSportExpert
The offset would actually be the amount that the triple clamps are adjusted from the stock placement (basically stock offset would be considered 0mm). These clamps would be 22mm or 24mm offset from stock triple clamps.

Can these clamps be ordered with stem and bearings and how much cost would it add.?

We do not have this option listed on our website. Applied offers this option on their website.

You may look at like the Ride Engineering clamps as they have the stem for most all models.

The Applied Factory R/S Triple Clamp Set With Oversized Bar Mounts is ONLY for the larger 1-1/8" bars. Depending on the make/model/year of bike, Applied may have different 7/8" bar mounts available for the application.

Yes there would be a mounting point on the bottom clamp for your OEM steering stabilizer on your 2013 Honda CRF450R. (Note: the image online is generic for reference only, it may not be showing the exact clamp for your CRF)

I contacted Applied on this question and this is their response: "Applied triple clamps are not sold with the stem and bearing since you can opt to use your stock stem and bearing (except where noted) to save money. Your stock stem and bearing will work in most cases." -Christi, Applied Racing

The turning of my ktm is very twitchy and sometimes tucks the front wheel under, looking for a more confident front end that handles better,?
Which offset is best? Do a little moto x, mostly trail and free riding in the dunes ( Western Australia )

The stock 2012 250SX has 20mm offset clamps stock. General rule of thumb is the lower the number the faster the bike will turn and the more twitchy it will be. For your application I would recommend trying the 22mm offset clamps to help calm the front of the bike down.
