ALL BALLS CV BOOT KITS

everything fit perfectly and was fairly easy to install. parts were suppose to come in 2nd day delivery, but UPS screwed that up and it took a week to get my parts which I was not happy about. however MOTOSPORTS refunded me the extra money I spent for the express delivery that did not happen!!!! THANKS MOTOSPORT.

Everything with this kit is great, except the clamps. The boot is good quality and fit perfect. Installation was easier than I thought it would be. The only problem was with the clamps, they are of poor quality. I had reuse the old clamps. I would buy this again but with understanding of finding better quality clamps.

2013 polaris 6x6

Instalation was extremely easy with a little help from a YouTube video 1st 1 took about 2 hours but by the time I got to the 3rd had it down to about 30 mins. I didn't have nor could I find the band tightening tool @ local parts stores so I discarded the band's & used hose clamps worked like a champ. Only complaint I have is I ordered 2 boots they came @ separate times 2 days between deliveries . Ordered another 2 days after original order it took almost 2 weeks before delivery due to processing time.otherwise completely satisfied

Try the other Manufacturer

This kit was not the right size even though the box said everything was correct. Looked like the correct size for the inner boot but this was the outer boot and was too small although I was able to squeeze it on so it would work and I could go riding. We'll see how long it lasts! There was not enough grease for both cv joints as the inner joint needs to be disassembled in order to replace the boot on the outer joint. Booo! The clamps sucked so bad I just used the old ones again. Boooo! I know it's cheap but I'd gladly pay a few more bucks for something that works like it should. Boooo!!!!!!! Looks like "All Balls" is "Sucking It" on this one!!!!!!

easy installation, looks and feels like they are made to last. they have been on for two weeks and not used much yet but I have installed others on a mini truck and I feel that these are made of high quality material and will last for a long while.

Better than OEM!

Replaced my rear inner CV boot that was damaged during a hunt in Alaska. This new boot was super easy to install and looks and feels more durable than the OEM that was destroyed. save yourself some money and get this over the OEM ones!

CV Boots-pretty easy

I had to replace both rear CV Boots on my Teryx 750 as I think lifters and snow tracks stretched them too much (changed angle?) I'm not a mechanic at all, but wanted to save $... Took me about an hour per boot, which seems pretty good. I've taken it out with the wheels on it a couple of times this fall and works like a charm. Snow is coming so tracks will be on soon, so that will be the real test.

Great Value!

Pros: Cheap price, premium construction.

Cons: they do not install themselves

Other: These boot kits are so cheap, there is no reason not to have extra for the trail. I have been in all conditions, icy creeks, swamps and sand. I can tell you that these boots perform every bit as good if not better than oem. MotoSport rocks

Q: Ticking noise in right rear?
2 years 8 months ago
I have a 2008 Arctic Cat 500 4x4A. There is a ticking noise coming from the right rear and I noticed the little rubber boot is torn. I think this is the CV boot. Could that be the problem? Also, my son bought this in Alaska and shipped it back to Florida when he moved back. I assume all the oils and lubricants are for Alaska's weather. What should I replace for Florida in addition to the motor oil?

A: This kit would replace your torn boot but if you are hearing that clicking sound you may want to check the entire CV axle to see if it needs to be replaced as well. When the boot gets torn it caused the grease inside to come out and the CV joint can get worn out fairly quickly with no grease. Also, it is hard to say for sure without knowing what oil is in your ATV, but you will likely need to run a motor oil with a different viscosity now that the ATV is being used in colder Alaska weather.

A: I unfortunately do not have the exact dimensions for each of the All Balls CV Boot Kits available to me. These CV Boot Kits would be made to the same specifications and dimensions as the OEM CV Boots (per model ATV). Just be sure to correctly select your specific ATV as the Ride You Are Shopping For so that we can send you the correct kit for your model. (Please Note: The Image online is a generic image of an All Balls Kit, it may not be displaying the exact kit for your ATV).

A: This boot is available for the front of your Yamaha Bruin 350. Keep in mind this is the inner boot for the CV near the differential. If you need the outer boot you would need to purchase the kit specific to the outer boot. Make sure to profile your ATV correctly as these boots are model specific.

Q: Size?

I would like to know what are inner and outer diameter, and lenght in this boot kit. I need a part where the inner size is 25mm and outer is 45mm and lenght is 35mm. Thank you.

A: The sizing of the boots vary per model. There is a wide selection of boot kits available. The fitment system is based upon model rather than size so we do not have the specs of each individual boot available. I would try to contact All Balls Racing directly with your measurements and see if they have a boot that can accommodate your measurements. All Balls can be reached at : sales@allballsracing.com

How do I get to the inner boot?
MotoSportExpert
MotoSport Staff
Over 3 years ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
A: It depends on which model ATV you have. You will be able to remove one or both of the CV's to gain access
Cptnjarhead
Over 3 years ago Location: Michigan, USA
A: Well, your going to have to unbolt parts of the suspension and A-arms to get to the shaft. Once the suspension is out of your way, you can loosen the boot bands and slide it up the shaft. Then you need to get the retaining ring out of the hub to pull the shaft out. Remove the snap ring out of the center of the cage to slide off of the spline. clean up everything and reassemble. (**put your new boot on before you put the cage back on**)

A: Yes this would be the correct item, you will need to profile your ATV to make sure we get you the correct boots specific to your ATV. If you need both sides you will need to order quantity 2 as these are sold individually.
