The AGV Numo is the new top-of-the-range flip-up helmet from the AGV collection. This model is as much intended for touring as for urban use and comes richly equipped as standard. This makes it a leader in its segment for comfort, size, safety and functionality. Thus, this helmet is ideal for those wanting the good look and safety of a full face helmet and the handiness of an open face version. This solution also boasts some first class technical innovations. With the chin guard open, the helmet is remarkably compact and the distance between the shell and the guard is the smallest in the category. This helps reduce the so-called "sail effect." Small but important details which further enhance the model include rubberized buttons and mechanisms as well as color-coded painted components.
Shell: The AGV Numo features a HIR-TH (High Resistant Thermoplastic Resin) shell and the helmets range in size from XS to XL.
Ventilation: The IVS (Integrated Ventilation System) features ducts hollowed into the shell for improved air circulation inside the helmet and better aerodynamic efficiency. Air vents on the front and on the chin guard ensure a constant flow of air inside the helmet. Hot moist air is extracted via ducts hollowed into the polystyrene and thanks to the breathable fabric used in making the neck roll.
Visor: The new visor has been treated with special scratch-resistant and anti-fog processes and also offers 100% protection against UV rays. The Numo also comes with an anti-fog, scratch-resistant, tinted, internal sun visor that is operated from the outside and which can be removed for cleaning and replacement without the use of tools.
Inner Liners: Great attention has been paid to the inner liners to ensure excellent comfort. The sanitized, breathable Lycra(r) crown pad features micro-perforations, has a three-dimensional concave shape and is made from a pre-formed single piece to perfectly match the shape of the head. There is no stitching in any of the sensitive areas and differentiated density foam provides an excellent degree of comfort. These technical solutions for the crown pad are protected by three patents. Sanitized Dry-Comfort 3D cheek pads made from differentiated density foam and the incorporated neck roll provide extra comfort and soundproofing. The large chin guard provides protection against draughts and noise from below. The liners can be removed for washing, as can the breath deflector and chin guard.
Functionality / Safety: The new visor opening / closing system features XQRS for speedy visor replacement and an interchangeable, replaceable, toothed mechanism allows personalized settings. There are three mechanisms available with different numbers of teeth and thickness for differing intended uses (Touring, Race and City). The chin guard is unlocked by pushing a single button downwards, i.e. in the opposite direction to that used to open it. This will prevent the guard from accidentally opening in the event of an impact. To guarantee maximum safety, the locking mechanism and pins are made of steel. The Numo is P/J homologated and, as it has passed the homologation tests with the chin board both lowered (like a full-face helmet) and raised (like a Jet helmet), it can be used in either configuration and still comply with all current regulations. To prevent accidental closure, the chin guard has a system which keeps it locked in the open position. The visor operating and ventilation buttons are rubberized. For additional safety, there are reflective inserts on the neck roll. The Numo comes ready to work with the new SHARE integrated communication platform.

1. Measure your head size. To do this, pass a tape measure horizontally around your head at a height of about one inch above your eye-brows and across the largest portion of the back of the head.
2. Check your measurement with the helmet sizing chart and select the closest size. As the helmet may not always meet your head size exactly, and your head measurement may fall between two sizes, first try the smaller size.
WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR HELMET
1. Expand the helmet opening by pulling outwards on each chinstrap, and slide your head into the helmet. If you are unfamiliar with helmets you may be reluctant to pull the helmet down, as it may feel too tight. Even if the helmet is difficult to put on, please use the smallest helmet possible. The helmet should feel snug. If the helmet is not tight, it is too big for you. New helmets will break in and loosen slightly over time.
2. Once the helmet is on:
Check that the helmet inner lining fits snugly all around your head.
Check that the top pad presses on the top of your head.
Check that the cheek pads press up against your cheeks. When you open and close your mouth, you should drag your teeth along the inside of your cheeks.
Check to make sure that you cannot easily slide your finger into the helmet along the side of your temple.
Hold the helmet with one hand on each side. Without moving your head, try to move the helmet up and down, and side to side. You should feel the skin of your head and face being pulled as you try to move the helmet. If you can move the helmet around easily, it is too big. Try a smaller size. Please note that during this check, the chinstraps should be properly fastened.
