Great low cost hand guads. I've had them in the past and most recently purchased for my CRF450R.They have saved my fingers from branches many times when riding trails. Also saved my levers when I dropped my bike at slow speed. Know what your getting and don't expect them to save your hands and levers in a bad crash but if you crash that bad you have other things to worry about! Easy to install and look good as well.

they definately save your grips and levers when you throw down and keep your bike looking good while doing it... however, to install these on my 06 crf 250x i had to trim the end of the plastic throttle tube so that the end caps could screw in... an easy job if you have a small saw or something, otherwise very easy to install... just remember to put your grip donuts on BEFORE installing haha
These will protect your hands but not too amazingly. They are ok because they could offer more protection. They look good though because they are very streamline and for the price they work fine.
The name of this product should be will not fit a YFZ450 unless you want to do away with all of your controls do not order these for your 06' YFZ450
Great hand guard for stock "yz" handlebar
A good product, not great. If you want a small guard set without major set-up this works okay. For rock and tree protection they're fine. If you drop the bike on them, don't expect the world.
i would agree with the other reviews to a point, but i must say that the protection is good on these...not amazing, but is good enough. i did have to trim my levers to get them to fit, not a big deal though. but i found a trick with these is to angle them down slightly (this protected my levers, but not my hands as much) i have laid the bike down a couple times mostly in sand and they seem sturdy, but i think anywhere else would spell trouble (meaning they wont stop a tree). if you ride in sand i would recommend or if you want a nice look, but otherwise they are just too flimsy. i have moose bark busters on my other bike and those are true tree stoppers.
These barkbusters work great and are easy to install.
I found that you don’t really need the aluminum braces. The tough hard plastic will save your brake and clutch levers if you take a spill.
Hey guys I purchased three sets to protect all my bikes levers and throttle in a case of a light crash, what a waste of my money, don't waste your. Okay for small branches. This guard will bend and deform in any tip over, I ended up using the MSR Bar type for levers and throttle protection and man they are strong and light. Spend the extra money to get a good one.
Looks great on bike. Relatively easy to mount. Lightweight. Provides adequate roost protection but very little protection in an actual accident. Bike just fell over and brake lever bent with these on.
"Kit includes mounting hardware for 7/8 inch aluminum handlebars."
