These hand guards look great but the one size fits all motto is not correct. It took me hours to get these to fit correctly. After forever i finally got them on right. The first time i went riding the bolts that held them on my bike fell out. I couldn't find the bolt so i had to buy another bolt. Buy only for looks not for use.

I have these handguards on 2 of my machines. They have had up to some pretty abusive treatment. Hitting trees, lay downs, they can take them all with no problem. The only this is, the Acerbis logo will scratch off quick. And after 3 yrs of abuse the plastic guard pulled through one of the bolts holding it on. I just put a washer on the bolt and they still work fine.
I bought these for a 2010 KLX250S. I could tell from the pics that they were a one-size-fits all, so I knew I'd have to get creative for the install. However, it wasn't so bad. The only part that wasn't exactly as expected was drilling and tapping the factory KLX handlebar instead of using the provided inserts. The screws provided are 8mmx1.25 thread. I also shortened them down to about 1.5 inches. Finally, I had to cut the ends of the factory rubber grips off to get good visibility into the bar end. Once mounted, these things are beefy as can be. I imagine that they'll be the last piece to break when I next meet a tree.
Overall I like the handguards. They fit well and come with two sets of plastics.
Easy to install.
What I did not like is that one of the handle bar mounts is plastic and not metal. For the money I thought all of the mounts would be metal.
Overall great product.
These are awesome, I prefer the larger plastic guards on them for wind protection, they have 2 different sets included, they are a good deal.
I don't know if I should send them back or take them to a bike shop to have these installed. After an hour of trying I have given up.You would think acerib would have realized that the screws are too short and the crossbar is right in the way.I will never purchase another acerib product.
It was very complicated to install because the crossbar got in the way several times and we has to shave off some of the throttle to allow the screw to go inside the bar....But other that these few problems everthing was good and it looks pretty good!
i bought these for my 06 crf450r. they were cheaper than the cycra and work just as well. i think they look better too. ive taken some good falls on these and bashed a few trees and they are still holding up just fine. great product. installs easily.
