Just put this on my ktm 380 exc today. Couple things on the install. Someone said to use a soldering iron to make the holes in the pack. This works perfect, I did that. But mock up the mount first. See where you want your holes to be in pack and on fender. Make sure all 4 holes are centered and where you want them. Mark the inside of the pack with silver marker where you want your holes. Use the soldering iron to make all 4 holes now. You'll have to push it through and do a tiny circle motion with it. Let it cool for a minute. Place on fender where you want it. If you're sure it's in place drill one hole in the fender with the pack in place on the fender. You are drilling through your solder hole as a guide AND the fender with a 1/4 inch bit. Now put your bolt through the bottom of fender. Add your washer and nut inside the fender bag (or on the top of fender), and don't tighten all the way. (I had to get 1 inch bolts at local hardware to get enough length with the double fender that is on EXC ktms. Now line up your fender bag so it sits square on the fender. Now drill another hole in fender through the fender. Mock up that bolt, washer, and nut and just snug em down. Then drill your other 2 holes, and bolt those down. I had to use the nuts that came with the bolts from hardware since they were a different thread. I used threadlock on mine and tightened them all down. This worked like a charm. So your washers and nuts are inside the pack, and less likely to pull through the pack using the big washers they provide. The soldering iron trick melts the nylon liner and leaves an edge that won't fray. This thing is on there until I decide to unbolt it. Use this method and you won't go wrong.

Sweet little bag to keep my registration, wallet, and phone in. Very easy to mount on fender... Great buy!
I havent mounted this yet. Waiting to get the bike back together.
Appears well made. Should last a few years for me. Going on
A ktm 380 exc.
Easy to install and good capacity
I ordered this pack for trail riding, but it is destined to sit on top of my toolbox in my garage. There are no mounting instructions included with pack so I contacted Acerbis. They emailed me the following day saying there are no mounting instructions because it is so easy to mount. Just drill and bolt. My problem is that there are no metal grommets on the pack for drilling. Therefore the canvas shell is doomed to fray and rip, more quickly with more weight. Just what I need, back tracking through the woods looking for my expensive tools that fell out of my cheap bag. No thank-you!
Nice little compact bag that allows for carry of small items. After reading the other reviews of the material snagging/tangling up while trying to drill mounting holes, I decided to melt through. I took a small (about the size of the screws) socket mounted to a long extension (to avoid the heat), heated it with a small torch and pressed it through for a perfect hole. The solid material inside is also plastic so it bores through easily. I recommend aquiring four additional flat washers for the nut side/underside.
This is a great bag for the money. I ordered 2 for 2 different dirt bikes I own. Like one of the other reviews the first one I tried to drill holes through and it kept catching on the fabric and was hard to drill through because of this.
The other one instead of drilling I hammered holes through with a sharp pick with the bag sitting on top of an old 2x4 wood board and that worked great. Bags are mounted securely and are just the right size for what I carry.
This is a small but sturdy fender bag perfect for a small tool kit, spare tubes or a small lunch. There is a small clear outside pocket within the flap but I would not put anything too important there (other than a map or paper) as things may fall out. There is a support strap to keep things snug. The size is smaller than I expected (thinner) but is perfect for tools and tubes. I would buy it again.
I bought two of these bags for my husband and I for a 140 mile DS Ride. We were able to each carry tools, bottled water, registration, insurance paperwork and snacks in the bag. Its a good size and it worked very well. Would buy again.
Good sturdy bag. Comes with all the mounting hardware and fits well. Has cinch straps for bigger items. Highly recommended.
Inside Liner tears when drilling Holes for Mounting .Other than that Nice rear fender Bag for the price
I am very pleased with this bag. Easy to mount and holds my tools, sparkplug, and water bottle. The interior stays dry even when washing the bike. I highly recommend this item!
Perfect size, holds a water bottle and tools
I mounted this on my '97 XR400r. Good looking and functional little bag. It's held up to ~1000mi off road so far without issue.
