The VForce reed valve system by Moto Tassinari has been the reed valve system of choice by anyone serious about two-stroke engine performance for the last 10+ years. The simple premise of the VForce3 reed valve system is to increase engine power and throttle response by increasing the efficiency over a conventional reed valve design.
The unique design of the VForce reed valve system features double the reed tip surface over a conventional reed valve design. This has two major benefits: 1) The reed petals only travel half the distance as a conventional reed valve design to get the same airflow. 2) Because the reed petals only need to travel half the distance of that on a conventional reed valve design, there is a greater chance of them being fully opened as well as a better chance of sealing when they are "closed". A reed petal never truly "closes" in a classic sense, as it is always in movement. Consider this, an engine operating at 8,000 RPM results in a reed petal opening and closing 133 times in one second. This fact sheds light on another VForce advantage. Since the petals are only traveling half the distance, they generally last longer and they receive less wear than the reed petals on a conventional reed valve design.

Well first the reeds strait out of the box had a big chip in them and then after tearing old power valve out they dont fit in my cr250. Overall they may be great if they were to fit but i returned them and just went to a boysen rad valve.
I have an 04 Yz 125 that was a garage decoration for about 10 years 100% stock original everything low low hours.. Anyways I have to say after torque ing down bolts, new plugs, cleaning a gummed up carb and getting the bike running it just had terrible throttle response no low to mid range control and the high end power band was a slap in the face everytime it's almost too sketchy. After bolting on this reed system (very very easy install) I noticed an immediate crispy throttle and sound, so much smoother I just roll that throttle back and I finally feel like I have total control of this machine, also leaned out my bike which was exactly what it needed to eliminate fouled plugs and splooge. I am 110% satisfied and can't wait to get an exhaust kit and jet kit to really make her rip, thanks Moto Tassinari for helping me build an awesome machine!

jet the bike properly and you will be blown away. this is what 2 strokes dream about. also a gnarly fmf pipe is a good pairing for these.

The directions state that you might have to cut the rubber tabs off the stock intake manifold. Let's just say it's a lot easier said then done and the stock reeds bolts will not be the correct length to for the new reeds
This is my third VForce reed valve and the reason for that is that they work. It woke up my son's YZ125, now it revs from the bottom to way over the top and everything in between which is what his bike needed. Installation was fairly quick once I took my sub frame off and it bolted on easily with the supplied parts. What more can one ask for when the product delivers as advertised. Buy it, you wont be disappointed.
I installed this on my 2002 cr250 before my race, what a difference the powerband comes on quicker and the bike revs out higher. Well worth the money, now I'm mixin gas and slappin @ $ $!!!

Installed while doing an upper engine rebuild. Easy install. Bolted right up. Button dynojet noted more power. Happy with this part.
This product does exactly what you buy and some. My throttle response is is amazing and sounds throaty which is also cool. They were easy to install on my 2001 YZ125. The shipping was great like always and like always showed up couple of days early. I can't wait to go riding this weekend!
V Force almost made a reed cage that wasn't worth the trouble.
On my 2002 ktm sx250, you have to cut the reeds off flush on
the stock Boysen block. File, cuss, and fab up a carb adaptor.
Good reeds, for the money, it should be a straight bolt in.
Somewhat easy to install. The existing air boot for the KX85 & kx100 will need to be trimmed, which a template plate is provided in the kit. I does mention this in the detailed instructions as a possible task/
Be sure to adjust your jetting, the V Force will make the bike run leaner. I had to increase the main jet from 138 to 142.

I have noticed a big difference of how crisp it is now and how responsive my throttle is now. Couldn't ask for a better performance item. It gives you instructions on how to modify the carb. boot and everything. Very worth it (97 CR250)
