Air / snow filter

this is a perfect base for a snowbike air filter system - this coupled with a snow or rain sock works great. No snow build up in air box, the length is perfect for a KTM or Husky, and then cover with a snow sock, don't oil it, and the foam is a nice skeleton and second chance filter for the snow and snow biking. so stoked on the set up!

Not Compatible!

I ordered this filter to go on my 2000 XR100R- which the site said would be compatible with my bike. When I got it in and took it to my mechanic, he said it was definitely NOT compatible with my bike. The clamp system wouldn't work with the permanent filter on the bike. All that was needed was a foam piece which we were able to obtain from a local cycle shop.
I have no complaint about the product, only that it was not compatible with my bike.

Excellent Selection

This was a difficult part to find in this size. They had it at more door ASAP. I will only order with MotoSport in the future.

A: The POD style filters are a universal fit that clamp to the back of the carburetor. You would need to measure the OD of your carburetor to find the correct size filter to fit. Feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

A: Unfortunately we do not have the OEM style UNI filter for your 2005 Yamaha 350 Raptor. However we do have the Twin Air filter for your ATV.

A: This is an air filter. It is a POD style, not an OEM replacement style filter. They are as pictured.

A: You really should not spray water directly into your air filter when it is on your bike and a pressure washer may tear through the foam of the filter. You should always remove the air filter for proper cleaning.

A: I would not reccomend pressure washing any filter as it could damage it. Use a filter solution or just wash with dawn dish soap in a sink. This is generally what I do seems to work fine.

Q: What size and kind of aftermarket air filter do I need for my 1987 yfm 225 moto 4 and how do you change it and would it help performance at all?

A: These specific air filter are designed to be a universal type filter and need a mounting flange to clamp to. Unfortunately they will not work on the 1987 YFM225 with the stock airbox arrangement. The YFM225 uses a filter that is specific only to that model. The only filter available for a direct fit is the OEM replacement filter. That filter can be found here: http://www.motosport.com/utility/oem-parts/YAMAHA/1987/YFM225-MOTO_4/AIR-FILTER
