Description Item #TWO000L

The entire line of Two Brothers Racing M Series canisters feature the same high level of quality construction and are designed to be fully serviceable in the event of damage (replacement parts are available separately), routine maintenance or the occasional repack. These special designs provide for ease of maintenance as well as simplified construction, which is what a premium performance product is all about! The exhaust note produced by all of TBR's Top Level exhaust systems is best described as being deep and throaty without suffering from the shrill whine normally associated with other manufacturer's straight through muffler canisters.

  • All of the canisters perform and sound the same, they are simply different shapes.
  • They all incorporate Two Brothers exclusive technologies and premium construction materials.
  • The shape and orientation is normally determined by Two Brothers R&D department, based on a performance criteria check list.
  • All aluminum systems include U.S. Forest Service-approved spark arrestor.
  • Notes: Two Brothers Racing products are designed and sold for racing use ONLY. This product is NOT legal on public roads, streets, or highways. Image for reference only; canister orientation and size may vary depending on application.

Slip-On Systems - This type of system replaces your existing "S-bend" pipe and exhaust canister. TBR's S-bends are manufactured from 0.035" thin wall stainless steel. They then polish them to a satin finish. They use only #304 stainless which will never rust. After a few heat cycles the steel turns a golden amber color which is the characteristic signature of high quality stainless steel. These systems not only add horsepower but also can drop significant weight from your bike. This type of canister can be mounted in the original canister position or in a "high" mounted canister position depending on the bike and the available applications.

The exhaust sounds great and is easy to install, but no pipe clamp to go back to the the existing pipe on the quad. I purchased a clamp to put there. Kind of a janky design in my opinion. If they would change that so there is an exhaust clamp there, it would be a high quality add-on.

Does Not Fit

Just got my M7 for my 2008 Yamaha WR450F. There is no way to connect the head pipe to the pipe that comes with the Two Brothers exhaust pipe. The pipes are different sizes and there is no clamp or composite "donut" provided to allow the two pipes to connect properly. I have this same exhaust on my other bike and it came with everything needed for a quick and easy install.

Great Product

Sleek looking and mean sounding exhaust. No problem installing it on my TRX 450r; came with all the right tools for the job. Instant pickup from the quad. A must have if you're looking for a reliable aftermarket exhaust.

Two brothers slip on exhaust

Tried to get it on my bike. Didn't fit right. Called customer service and the said I needed extra parts or to get some clamps to get it to stay on. Was very disappointed it didn't come with everything needed to get it to stay on my bike. I returned it.

Q: Do you have to have an aftermarket jacket or can you use the stock TRX 400 EX jet?

A: Normally when installing a slip-on only minor jetting changes are needed, if any at all. If your ATV is currently jetted properly you will likely not have to make any changes after installing this slip-on. I would recommend installing the exhaust and riding the bike to see how it is running then tuning your carburetor from there if necessary. Also, feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

There is not a specific setting I could give you for jetting your bike. It would really depend on your location (altitude/temperature) and how your bike is running with the current jetting. Jetting can be very tricky, there isn't one setting that will work everywhere with every bike

Q: Will this open any power with this quad and do i need tuner box?

A: The internal combustion engine is very simply put a basic air pump. The more air/fuel you can pass through the intake and exhaust from the motor, the more power you will make. HP gains are very subjective to gauge on any one or combination of performance parts. Things like the age of the motor, the tune of the air fuel ratio, the altitude, etc will all have an effect on PEAK HP numbers. Many performance products will not increase your PEAK HP, but rather move the HP to a different RPM range than the stock motor.

Normally when installing a slip-on only minor changes to the air/fuel ratio are needed, if any at all. If your bike is currently running properly, likely you will not have to make any changes after installing this slip-on. I would recommend installing the exhaust and riding the machine to see how it is running then decide if you need an purchase an aftermarket EFI tuner .

A: The Two Brothers M-7 Slip-On Exhaust comes complete to replace the factory slip on muffler part of the exhaust.

Normally when installing a slip-on only minor jetting changes are needed, if any at all. If your machine is currently jetted properly you will likely not have to make any changes after installing this slip-on. I would recommend installing the exhaust and riding the ATV to see how it is running then tuning your carburetor from there if necessary.

Q: Will this work with the fmf header for drz400sm?

A: Due to these not being from same manufacturer it may not be an exact fit. The FMF headers will work with stock slip-ons but the stock slip-ons also have a crush gasket which allows some extra play when initially fitting the exhaust. This gasket can be crushed down with the exhaust clamp to create a correct seal between the two portions of the exhaust system.
