Twin Air

Been runnin Twin air filters since the 90s. They are one of the very best filters you can use. Another great point is they have excellent customer service!
Be advised though, only use twin air oil and cleaning products. I used another brand and bagged it for future use (spare) and it fell apart upon removal.
Also, Motosport take note, I have brought this to your attention in the past. Power Flows Do NOT come pre oiled as advertised - "Filters are pre-oiled with Twin Air BIO Foam Filter Oil using state of-the-art filter oiling machines to provide the ultimate consistency in pore coverage".

Best filter out there Period

I have been running this filter for years now and in my opinion is just the best filter out there for a 4-stroke.

Only choice in air filters

I've used Twin-Air filters since 1990 and never had a single issue.
The description leads you to believe you must use the power-flow cage but the filter fits the stock cage with only minor modifications on a 2008 YZ450F. You can remove the screen from the stock cage or purchase a cage for a YZ two stroke. If the bolt is too short simply grind the top of the post down to allow filter to sit closer. Brilliant!
I like their filters but not spending 100 bucks for a cage!

Great product

Twin Air has never done me wrong. Use it in all three of my bikes, however I am not a hardcore racer so for me its perfect. Mostly dunes n dry dirt.

Best Air Filter!

I have been using Twin Air since I started riding and I have never been disappointed with their air filter products. This filter is easy to take care of will last a long time. Pair this with the power flow kit and good air filter oil, I usually get the spray can kind, and I have never seen any dirt particles past the air filter. A must for any 4 stroke!

Best of the best

I am a true believer in Twin Air filters. I bought one of these in 2007 for my 2006 Honda TRX450R. Every time I ride for a weekend I use the biodegradable cleaner and recharger to re-install the filter. I ride with 4 other 450R's who have UNI and K&N filters. I bought the cage for the twin air filter which is well worth the money. We all run an open air box and I have compared the soot on the inside of the intake after removing the filter. Mine is consistently the cleanest. We ride through a lot of mud, dust and water and I have never had a failure due to the air filter. If that wasn't enough, the 450R has constant maintenance requirements with the valves. Knock on wood but mine is the only one that hasn't had to have the valves, springs and seals replaced yet. I believe it is directly related to my air filter. Everyone does the maintenance and cleans the filters religiously but I am still running original valves. I have also noticed that when I adjust my valves they are not nearly as tight as the rest. Twin air and No Toil in my opinion have come up with the best design for power, cleanliness and reliability than anyone else in the industry. I feel confident riding in any condition that my twin air system will protect my intake. Highly recommend. Well worth the price you pay.

Save $100

take this filter and cut your stock backfire screen out and you have a twin air powerflo kit. save you 100 bucks! the backfire resistant black layer of foam replaces the backfire screen so you get more air. it worked great

Much more stable than other filter set ups

I race xc and have had other brand filters fall off. This brand and design holds up very well and even after the dustiest of races I see no residue or dirt inside my intake boot.

Best filter

I have tried other brands, but come back to Twin Air. More substantial than others, and filter better than any other brands I have tried.

Q: Fitting?

I have a 2008 KX250F and was wondering if this filter would fit the stock cage or would i have to purchase the whole power kit?

Q: Can i take out my backfire screen?

this product did not come with the cage

A: This is just the replacement filer for for the power flow kit and is specific to the twin air cage that is not included with this filter. Personally I would leave your screen in there unless you purchase a full kit that eliminates the screen.

Q: Does it only work on power kit cage?
i was playing around with my stock back fire screen and found that the screen only sits inside the filter cage and easly pops out. i was wondering if i could throw one of these filters on the stock plastic cage without the back fire screen in place, or if it could possibly cause a problem?

A: Wrong. The stock plastic cage will work. they are usually very strong, and the same design as the Twin Air cage.

A: There is 4 of us in our crew using the Power Flow filter on our 2006 CRF 450R's with the screen removed.

It's the same filter as the cheaper one, the power flow filter just has flame retardant foam on the inside.
