How long has it been since you changed your motorcycle chain & sprockets? Are the teeth looking excessively pointy? Is your chain binding up and making your bike buck, even slightly? A worn out chain and/or sprockets isn't only an annoyance, it can be downright dangerous. A chain could snap or a sprocket could strip, causing a heck of a mess that you could avoid by doing a timely replacement. The other benefit is that you can change your ratios around, favoring a higher top speed or giving your bike a little more pick up out of the corners! What this means is that your bike will accelerate quicker, but lose a negligable amount of top speed, which is a trade-off that most of us will never notice.
