I've found that there is no perfect leather jacket, off the rack, but this one is close. I'm 5' 11", 180 lbs with relatively broad shoulders/narrow waist. My Frank Thomas and Dainese racing leathers are both a tight fitting size 52, I decided to go with a 54 in this jacket, and I chose well. It's a sporty cut that fits pretty snugly. I cinched up the adjustment straps at the waist a little, and it feels almost like a custom fit. Two minor cons - I wish the collar was a little higher to keep the wind off your neck, and when it's really cold, the perforations in the arms let cold air onto your upper arms, which the liner vest doesn't cover. Solution to both, ditch the vest and wear a base layer with sleeves and neck gaiter. I haven't used it in hot weather yet, I doubt it will be bearable above 80 F. Anyway, great understated style, I hate jackets with huge white logos on the chest/back, makes you look like you're just waiting to get fat and bald so you can buy a Harley and a vest with patches on. This one fits correctly for the sport riding position, but doesn't scream "biker" if you wear it as a casual winter jacket. It fits nice and snug, so get one size bigger if you have big shoulders and want to be able to layer underneath.
