Product Description

Renthal 7/8" handlebars re-wrote history when they became the first aftermarket aluminum handlebar to be fitted as O.E.M. on a Japanese motocross motorcycle. All Honda CR/CRF and Kawasaki KX/KXF models (except minis) are fitted with a Renthal 7/8" handlebar as original equipment.

The exclusive aluminum alloy and the advanced manufacturing processes Renthal uses result in a handlebar which is more than capable of withstanding the extreme rigors of motocross and supercross riding and racing.

  • 7/8" (22 mm) external diameter to fit most standard-sized clamps and controls.
  • 7010 T6 aluminum - which Renthal has exclusive rights to - is a specially developed alloy for the manufacture of handlebars.
  • Oversize tubing is machined down to 7/8" to ensure a perfect, consistent diameter.
  • High impact strength, lightweight and excellent vibration dampening.
  • Shot peened surface finish to help prevent fatigue failure.
  • Knurling - grip end only - increases bonding between bar and grip.
  • No knurling in clamp area, this could cause stress on the riser and lead to fatigue failure.
  • Anodizing - a 15 step anodizing process forms an integral coating giving protection against corrosion.
  • Renthal's copyrighted, bonded lightweight single bolt clamping system for the cross-brace greatly increases strength whilst still allowing flex.
  • Laser-etched positioning grid.
  • The highest quality - 35 individual steps / processes required in the production of each bar and 58 separate quality checks made.
  • A specially developed injection-molded crossbar pad is included with every handlebar.
  • Note: The cross-brace is fitted to all Renthal 7/8" MX handlebars and the streetfighter handlebars.

Perfect Bars

I got these bars a few days ago and they look great! The Carmicheal bend is perfect for me as they have the least pullback. The Silver/Blue look great with my KX 125. It shipped faster than scheduled and tracking was great. I couldn't find them cheaper and in the bend I wanted anywhere else. Can't wait to use them more.

Strong all round bar

used jimmy button bend bars for years, great for stand up trail riding on xr650. tall bar allows room to mount gps and extra clutch lever/perch above triple clamp

Yes, You would need to run a "Mini" bend on that bike. For your 2014 Kawasaki KX85, the best bend would be the "784 - RC Mini/Alessi" bend.

The 2013 Kawasaki KX450F stock bend would be the "971 - Carmichael" bend.

What bend is best for. R 80 R?

Any of the bends that are labeled "Mini" would fit your Honda XR80R. I would recommend going with the "784 - RC Mini / Alessi" bend as it would be the closest to the stock Honda Mini Handlebar bend.

Want the closest feeling to stock.

Renthal actually make a bend that is the same as the OEM Bend on your Honda. It would be the "971 Bend" or the "Carmichael Bend".

I am confused about what "Bend" I need to select for handlebars.?
I just want the sandard style of bar as per original 2012 Honda CRF230F.

Unfortunately we do not carry a Renthal Handlebar that is the same bend as the OEM bars on your CRF230F. The closest bend to the original bars for your bike would be the "784 - RC Mini" Bend. The main difference between the RC mini and your original bars is the RC mini is approximately 25mm narrower from bar end to bar end compared to your original bar.

What renthal bars would be the best for me? I'm 6'2'' and ride '13 yzf450?

The "764 - Jimmy Button" is the tallest bar offered in the Renthal 7/8" bars at 110mm tall. The "722 - CR High" Bend (95mm tall) is a popular bar for taller riders like yourself. Another one of the taller bend 7/8" bars would be the "971 - Carmichael" bend (99mm tall), although it has less rise that the CR high so the bars would have a more of an upward angle towards the ends of the bars. It's hard to recommend a specific bar as really it is all about rider preference. I'd recommend looking at the different measurements for the bend's on the Size Chart to see which would work out best for you.

Less back bend toward seat and a standard to mid high from trip clamp snould work well

What bend is the best for a rm 100?
Expert MotoSport Staff
3 months 6 days ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
One of the "Mini" bends would work best for your Suzuki RM100. I would recommend looking at the bend measurements on the size chart. More than likely the RC Mini/Alessi or the Mini High bend would be the best options for you.

What would be the best renthal bar for a 2009 yz250f?
MotoSport Staff Expert
3 months 23 days ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
The Renthal #966 bend is a pretty standard Yamaha Bend (also labeled as "McGrath" or "YZ / Henry") If you still have the stock bars on that 2009 Yamaha YZ250F these bars would not work with the clamps you have as that bike came with Pro Taper 1-1/8" bars. In order to run the Standard 7/8" bars you would have to get 7/8" Handlebar clamps as well. If you were looking to replace the original bars without changing the clamps I would recommend looking at the Renthal Twinwall or Fatbar Handlebars, or the Pro Taper Contour Handlebars.

Anything that's not made for a pit bike or supermini, etc. will fit your bike as long as you still have stock clamps. Bar bend is personal preference.

I have a 2004 kx125 whats the best bars for it?
MotoSport Staff
4 months 15 days ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
Handlebars vary with personal preference but one of the most popular sets that works for a wide range of riders are the 971 Carmichael bend bars. if you look at the sizing chart, you can see the differences in the height and sweep of the bars. These two measurements will make the biggest difference in how the bars feel.

Hello, I have a 2004 Yamaha Warrior 350. Iwas looking at getting a pair of renthals for it. I want the bend to be stock.?
Hello, I have a 2004 Yamaha Warrior 350. I ended up fliping her and got away with just a bend in the stock handle bars. This "bend" is starting to effect my steering. I want a new pair of handlebars but I want something strong in the event that I flip it again. Thank you in advance, AJ Miller

Unfortunately none of the bends are going to be exact to what your Warrior came with stock. Any of the ATV bends will work well on the Warrior. If you reference the sizing chart it has the dimensions of each handlebar and from there you can pick handlebar that has the correct height and sweep you are looking for to meet your needs.
