Product Description

The Pro Taper EVO handlebar utilizes a computer-profiled 4 mm wall design that makes it lighter than the competition while boasting a more sensitive feel. In addition, the EVO is made from a unique blend of proven proprietary alloys and is the official bar of the Geico Honda Race Team.

  • Made with aerospace-grade 2050 aluminum.
  • Manufactured to exact rise and pullback specifications and tolerances to provide a consistent and accurate feel.
  • Independent lab tests show that the EVO handlebars outlast every other handlebar on the market in fatigue life.
  • 4 mm computer-profiled wall design.
  • Unique inner tube coating to resist corrosion.
  • 1/4" cut guides for precise modification.
  • Left side knurling provides maximum grip traction.
  • Chemically applied "un-sticker graphics" are scratch and peel-resistant.
  • End plugs help keep the elements out of the handlebar tubing and aid in longer grip life.
  • EVO has the best balance between fatigue life, impact strength and impact-absorbing flex.
  • Notes: Requires the use of oversized 1-1/8" handlebar clamps. Bar pad sold separately.

Tough Bars

I bought the CR High bend and I really like them. Fell over several times and bounced the bar ends off some trees...not bent. Great bars and great service from Motosport.com

Overall
These Handlebars are highly recommended for mx

To replace the awesome stock Renthal bars was tough to justify for me at first but...These reduce fatigue, are safer if ever your chin slams down towards the crossbar, and the one time I overshot the "Dinner Table" Jump at Broome-Tioga by 20' (I'll never do that again) the leatt neckbrace kept the impact from slamming my chin where the missing crossbar benefit has me rate the 5/5 Pro-Taper bars which literally saved the seasons title in the final round. dudes-they are the best and worth every penny...some flex the first ride seems weird but the arm pump is like almost dropped. if you compete you need these in my opinion for a huge advantage...

They Work!!

I used to have the contour bars but had bent those. I bought these about a year ago and I can honestly say, they are a good bar. I've had a couple pretty good wrecks on them and they are still as straight as the day I put them on my bike. Definitely recommend them!

Awesome Bars

I got these bars a couple months ago and they are great! they are very sturdy and wont bend or brake easily. i had a pretty bad get off i went down so hard that the bars rotated in the triples but did not bend or brake. I highly recommend them!

Strong bars

Decent bars held up a lot of crashes but the only down side is they scratch ridiculously easy. I had a lot of scratches just mounting the bars and using tie downs is going to be a nightmare.

Behind Bars

Overall, these are really good bars. I mean, they're handlebars after all, no moving parts, no different than any other fat bar, right? ... Yes, and No. The Pro Taper's are among the strongest Fat Bars you can get, it take A LOT to bend or break them. The thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is the price. Other than that, you can get them in nearly any bend you want, they last, and look great. Cheers!

Great Bars!

I purchased these bars for my 2003 CR250 with the CR high bend option. They are very comfortable and quick and easy to set up. The only con to them is they scratch very easily when strapping your bike in the truck.

Great Bars

Love these bars... Replaced the Renthal bars on my KX450 to help with some flex, not as stiff as the Renthal bars. I had Pro Taper on my other bike YZ450 and loved the bars, so when I bought the KX I thought I would keep the Renthal bars on them. I ride MX/Hare Scrambles and felt the Renthals were just too stiff for my comfort. FYI I had many crashes on my YZ and the bars never bent, cant go wrong with these bars.

Which handelebar best for KTM 350 sxf 2013 ?

The "OEM KTM / Factory Suzuki" Bend would be the closest to the original bend on your KTM 350SXF. Really any of the Pro Taper EVO bars would work for your bike. It really just is a matter of personal preference on which bend you like best. I have included an image of the dimensions of the bends on these bars. I would say compare each to the "KTM" bend and see if there is one you feel would work better for you.

Is there a pad that comes with these?
Over 10 months ago Location: Colorado Springs, CO
The bar does not come with a pad but you can purchase the pro taper pad separate. Fits perfectly. Make sure you have the oversize bar mounts if you don't have them already.

Unfortunately the EVO bars do not come with a bar pad. They can be purchased separately though.

Which one goes best with raptor 250 or yfz450?
MotoSport Staff
Over 12 months ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
There is not one that necessarily goes best for a specific bike. It is more of a personal preference on what you would like to change about the stock bar bend or if you would even just like to keep it stock and replace the bars. Any bend would technically fit on the YFZ450 as it has oversize bars stock. The Raptor 250s will require a 7/8th to 1 1/8th bar adapter to utilize these. Also i would look at the Pro Taper Contour handlebar as it will give you a larger selection of choices as far as the different bends go. Please contact us if you have more questions on the specific bends and how they would compare to stock.

What bars are best for quads and what is the best riser clamp for 2in. of rise?
trying to put fat bars on my quad and would like to raise them a couple of inches higher then stock

Here is one idea If you now have a low bend handlebars and wish to increase the height consider changing to a high bend handlebars. My CR85R has a high bend while my RMZ250 has a low bend. Go to your local dealer and take a good look and evaluate before you buy.

What size will fit a 2008 kx 100?
Top 250 Contributor
Over 4 years ago Location: NC
If your bike does not have 1 1/8 bars then you would have to buy some oversize mounts. Other then that the bend is up to. Go to their website and find the bend you want, then come back to MotoSport to buy it and save yourself some green!

Your stock bars are a 7/8th bar I believe so no these will not work unless you buy oversized bar mounts.
Over 11 months ago Location: Colorado Springs, CO
No you will need to get fat bar clamps, the factory ones are 7/8th bars.
