I love this jacket. I have it in the black with tan trim, and it goes perfectly on my 1970 Bonneville but also looks good, if not as flashy as full race colors, on the 2007 Daytona 675. Good fit if you get a size over (I am normally a 42 long in sportscoats, need a 44, or a "Large", for this jacket and anything from Tour Master). The shoulder and elbow armor is CE and good, and stays just where you want it. The back armor is single layer half inch stiff foam, OK but not like the dual layer (hard surface, foam interior) CE of the elbows and shoulders. This is fine with me, however, because I take out the standard armor in all my street jackets and wear an Alpinestar Bionic Back Protector, CE Level 2, that takes back protection to a whole new level. In the Coaster, the standard back protection can easily be removed (and replaced) through a pocket in the lining.
Heavy, but not too heavy, good and flexible, lots of vents front and back, good zipped interior pocket that will fit your wallet, phone, and perhaps a pair of shades. When I have some cash I will probably go for a pair of the Apex Air Leather Pants that zip straight into the jacket.
My new favorite for the road.
