Plugs that don't break

We kept losing the factory plugs until we bought the works connection set. They stay in and don't break when you tighten them.

Plugs

This is an awesome add on. I had to change out my stock plugs due to the fact that the guy who had the bike before me decided to use a standard instead of metric allen needless to say the head was stripped. I bought these and they fit like a glove and the red really stands out on the engine.

Just for looks

I love this product. It looks great, but my only complaint is the bigger one has to have a 10mm hex head to tighten it. It took me a couple of hardware stores to find it but WOW it realy set off my motor. buy it for a clean look. 3 rides and no boot scraches.

I just bought the works connection timing plugs and I was wondering what's the best way to change the old ones out to the new ones.?
1 month 13 days ago Location: Xenia ohio
All you will need to do is use the proper size metric Allen wrench to remove the old plugs and install the new. Make sure the bike is standing up or leaning away from the plug to prevent possible oil leaking out of lower plug.

Really you would just need to remove the oil plugs and replace them with the works connection plugs. Be sure that the Works Connection Plugs have the proper o-rings on them before installing on your engine (you can reuse your OEM o-rings if necessary). Just be sure that you are using the correct size allen head socket and make sure not to over tighten the plugs when installing. For the best results I would recommend using a torque wrench to tighten these plugs as they are easy to over tighten, you would need to check the torque specifications in your service manual.

Can you special order?
You don't carry these plugs for my LTZ400 but after looking on the Works Connection website I found that they do make them. Can you special order these for me at my request and if so, is there an extra charge for the special order?
