Great fit. Did not even notice I was wearing them. Elbowed a couple trees and felt no discomfort.

Super sleek. No bulk.
First off I took a hard hit this past weekend. Landed on left shoulder and arm. First time wearing elbow protection and these pads saved the day. On top of being an elbow guard, the shock doctors also contain forearm protection.
Sizing - Well be warned these are very tight. I am 6'0" @ 185 lbs . . . Average athletic build and the Size Large is tight. Albeit once you get used to them they're comfortable and do not move around at all.
These are well worth the money and definitely saved my elbow and forearm this past week. Glad I purchased.
These are super padded, but still very flexible. the sizing is very accurate so be sure to measure exactly to get the best fit.
Pads stay in place well and I don't notice them when riding. I broke my elbow a few months back and the added protection definitely does its job!
I have tried several other types and brands of elbow guards but these fit great and stay in place better. You don't even know that you are wearing them while riding. I feel safer and ride more aggressive with these on.
I have tried several different elbow guards and all but these end up sliding down. I highly recommend these. They do fit a little snug at first but break end nicely.
I've never been a fan of wearing elbow guards, mostly because the ones I've tried in the past didnt fit very well, keep sliding down or rotate around. Well the EG 5550 changed all that, these stay in place, dont rotate or slide up and down. Their very comfortable. There a bit tight to get on and off but I guess thats what makes them fit so well!

Good protection, very comfort.
Protects elbows and good portion of forearm. Stays in place and not noticealbe when riding.
Best elbow guards I have bought to date. Very flexible material conforms to the arm very well and still very durable. Also fits nicely under a jersey. Highly recommend.
It looks awesome, but the first time I wore it, it kinda was really tight at first. I bought the medium since that's my usual size and I also don't have big forearms. After a 1 ride It got stretched up and the next few rides it was already comfortable, I would forget that I wore these elbow guards. The good thing about them is that they don't spin on your arms not like the ones with just the strap. Its also not that hot. Normal riding wind cools it enough. The upper garter is a bit itchy at first but you'll get the hang of it. I'd recommend it.
I was really impressed with the build of these things. Size is too small though. I DO NOT have buff forearms and the size large gave me wicked arm pum. Too bad no XL offered. looks like im gonna have to modify these. Too bad for something so expensive.
I have own many pairs and of elbow and knee-shin guards, spending good $, but hese shock doctor guards are the best. Easy to put on, protect the elbows, forearms and knees-shins well with the same brand. On the plus side, they make xs for my little arms, so they fit me very well. I recommended this to a lot of my fellows riders. Good stuff
Bomber! Just like my bomber Troy Lee Helmet...2nd one....I'll only wear Troy Lee for his superior quality protective gear and super cool aristic flare...makes his line unique.
ordered these elbow guards a few weeks ago.
didn't know what size to order and there was no measurements on the websites to reference.
thought I had skinny arms so I ordered a Medium set.
these guards are nice and look to be really thought out and well built.
I have about 11 3/4" forearm and the mediums fit really snug.. but I would give them a try at the mx track to see it they would work.
Nope.. the mediums were too tight and gave me arm pump.
as of this writing.. I really like them but I'm going to have to order the larger size as the mediums were just too tight.
so for those interested in a size that would fit.
small" ? forearm
medium: 11" and smaller forearm
large: 11 1/2" and larger forearm
