I think this lever is about 5 mm longer than stock, which should help me get my boot under it to shift. It is the dead of winter, so I haven't had a chance to ride with it yet, but it looks good and fits fine. I'm happy with my purchase.
Opened package and noticed it was really light duty. Installed shifter on my bike and the shifter hits my case so I filed down the side of the shifter to get it to fit and it still hits after filing it way down. Double checked the year and model on the back on the package and it is correct with my bike. Junk! Don't buy!
Product went on and fits fine but the color is much different in real life than the one pictures. More of an orange.
It is well made good spring in it. Sturdy I laid it down a few times. I were you I will get this shift lever.

I have a 2013 yz250f and I race Mideast harescrambles and GNCC. I Have had this shifter last for more than a whole season. It never once bent on me, and it held up so long that I eventually wore out the spring inside from most likely mud races. Very satisfied!
Part fit good. Should be a good replacement from stock.
bought this for my RM250. The color seems to really last somehow....i like the fact that bolt has to be completely removed from the shifter before it comes off the bike

I Love this lever. The look and feel of it. Use lock tight though when tightening the bolt, it likes to slip out

I have used these shifter before and not had a problem. I bought this one for a CR80. As usual from Sunline the product was nicely finished and appears tough unitl you get to where it connects to the shaft. I dont know why but they machined a lot of material away from the shifter in this area. and the thickness and way the pinch bolt close are just weak. Also, the splines on the inside of the shifter mount were almost non existent. Between these two ailments even with red loctite the pinch bolt would back out and then the shifter would slip. I almost sent it back thinking that it had to be some kind of manufacture defect due to the lack of proper spline height. I ended up just reinstalling the stock shifter which works fine.

No good. Too much flex and spring return for tip is broke already
this lever looks trick so i had high hopes for it. it didn't work so well. the metal is too soft. i was missing shifts and it was bent by the end of the first practice session. if you are aggressive with the shifter you will bend this thing first lap! by the end of the day the lever bent right under the engine result the bike stuck in a gear and me going home. i replaced it with the hammerhead design shifter and i have not missed a shift since. the hammerhead is indestructible and has zero flex

Great deal for $30. In stock now. I bought one for my Bro's KX450 and it looks sick. Just remember to line it up the same as your old shifter. Error in the favor for what is easy for up shifting. You don't want to strain to shift up, and all you have to do is stomp to down shift. Tear it up
