Product Description

The KTM Strider is a revolutionary pedal-free bike that enables toddlers as young as 18 months to learn how to ride and balance on two wheels...years earlier than if they used the conventional tricycle or training wheel method. Most important, Strider™ teaches the skills needed to safely and easily transition to riding both a pedal bike and a Sport minicycle, making the first experience on each much more successful and positive.

Built for off road and every other terrain, the KTM Strider highlights include:

  • Bold KTM styling: Color-matched to the KTM big bikes with dirt-inspired action graphics.
  • Sized right: 6.7 pounds - built small and light so even the smallest kids can have full control over the bike.
  • Highly adjustable: Seat height adjusts from 11" to 16" from the ground - perfect for riders from 18 months to 5 years old.
  • Frame design: Custom-welded thin-gauge steel frame with U.S. patented, performance-based frame geometry.
  • Tires / wheels: Puncture-proof, super-lightweight, EVA-polymer tires mean a maintenance-free bike.
  • Sealed cartridge bearings are replacing the former cup and cone bearings previously found on the ST-2 and ST-3 models; the new sealed cartridge bearings roll smoothly and are maintenance-free for years of STRIDER riding.
  • A new tire tread pattern makes its debut this year; the tread is placed closer together for low rolling resistance on hard surfaces, while still providing multiple knobs for all terrain grip improving STRIDER bike handling and stability.
  • A new powder-coat finish replaces last year's baked enamel paint; the new coating is longer lasting and provides a more durable finish.
  • Black electro-deposited paint on the ST-4 seat post adds scratch resistance, and the quick-release clamps are finished with black anodization - Both enhance the sleek STRIDER look and uniform design.
  • New graphics make their debut on the footrest and handlebar pad, complementing the racing style of the STRIDER ST-4 bike.
  • Softer durometer grips for more comfortable feel on toddlers' little hands.

Detailed Specifications:

  • 6.7 pounds.
  • Toddler-sized mini-grips.
  • Seat height from 11 - 16".
  • Quick clamps on handlebar and saddle.
  • 12" molded wheels.

If your toddler can walk, a STRIDER will get your toddler cruising over dirt, grass, and pavement with ease. Designed to be steady, stable, and safe, the STRIDER ST-4 bike is perfect for children from 18 months to 5 years old.

Weighing only 6.7 pounds, the STRIDER™ No-Pedal Balance Bike is designed to be super light for ease of handling by young riders. The bike includes patented frame-integrated footrests for advanced rider development, and the handlebar and saddle height are adjustable for growing children.

Healthy kids develop essential motor skills early in life. Pediatricians agree that learning balance, coordination with exercise jump-starts a child's growth and development.

The ST-4 teaches your child balance, coordination and develops glittering confidence. Trikes and bikes with training wheels don't. Traditional bicycles place too much of the focus on learning to pedal - skimping on developing your child's motor skills.

"KTM has invested in young motorcycle riders for many years with our large line-up of minicycles, and now, with the KTM STRIDER we can welcome riders into the KTM Family at a much younger age. We believe wholeheartedly that learning to ride on a STRIDER will develop strong riding skills and have kids Ready To Race when they graduate to our minis." - Jon-Erik Burleson, President KTM North America, Inc.

My sons first bike

Awesome little bike. My son is 1 got it for his birthday. He loves it and rides/walks (with assistance) with it every night. After one week he can stand with it and hold it up while sitting on it. Did alot of research on this bike and although price wasnt the deciding factor the customer service from Motosport was. Thank you Motorsport for another great item.

Wish I could ride it!

I bought this for my 15 month old g-daughter. I think she will be hitting the jumps with this baby! Coolest idea for a starter bike. Well constructed and worth the bucks.

These bikes are great. They are very well built, and you can buy a lot of accessories. Perfect for a 3 year old to learn on. My boy loves to cruise down the driveway, and follow the bigger boys on the dirt track.
