Description Item #SUT0011

Sunstar is the largest O.E.M. supplier of sprockets and brake rotors in the world. In fact, your motorcycle probably came from the factory with a Sunstar sprocket. Need a reason to choose Sunstar? Every Sunstar product is imbued with superior quality, uses an exclusive heat-treatment and quenching process, is based on advanced research and design, and is sold at an added value price.

  • The evolution of the exclusive Sunstar Z sprocket, now made from the highest quality stainless steel.
  • Weighs up to 50% lighter than standard steel sprockets.
  • 100% heat treated AND even lighter than before with new weight reduction cut outs, but still has a hardness 5 times that of an aluminum sprocket and twice that of a standard steel sprocket.
  • Up to 4 times more durable with 1.2 times the lateral strength of any aluminum sprocket.
  • Great self cleaning capabilities due to the offset tooth design, same as the original Z Sprocket, which extends the life of the entire chain drive system.
  • The lightest steel sprocket available on the market.

Best sprocket- over 40 hours and no signs of wear

It's very thin so it's light. Teeth offset to compensate for standard width
Helps keep crud out too
it has no signs of wear after 40 hours in Florida sandy tracks
I used a good chain rk mxu as well
I've tried several other kinds this one is the best. Have not tried an ironman but for half the price you can't go wrong
Will definitely buy again when I need another one
Wore out front sprocket but rear still looks new

It looks pretty cool for a steel sprocket. wanted more longevity out of chain and sprocket setup. the teeth are offset from each other to clean mud out. it is heavier that aluminum. comes with new bolts and nuts

A: Yes. Sprockets fit all types of chains (non-sealed, O-Ring, X-ring). Just be sure to get the right size chain and sprocket so they match. ie: 520 for late model fullsize dirtbikes.
question
Q: Fit inside OEM chain guide?
Since the teeth are offset, or kinda wavy... does it rub the original chain guide more? any mods needed to the stock chain guide?

A: Even with the teeth being offset, the sprocket is no wider than a stock/regular style sprocket. It will still fit in your chain guide and will require no modifications.
