This is a great option for any racer or trail rider. I've busted so many stock levers out on the trail and had to limp back to the truck to replace it or worse call it a day because I didn't have an extra. No more with these bad boys. I put them on my CRF450r and immediately went and plowed it into the ground. (not on purpose, but ya know these things happen) The lever came up covered in dirt but otherwise good as new. They're a great insurance policy for any rider, take a digger and get right back up and ride. Certainly stylish as well.

V1 MDX Brake Levers - No other lever has this level of technology in it. Multi-Directional - You don't crash in one direction, why should your lever move in one? The V1 MDX is not a "flex" lever. The V1 uses the new multi-directional or MDX platform. Like no other lever before it, the V1 MDX moves forward, up and down. MDX - because you don't crash in one direction.
The inspiration: Vince Warren - In the 80's, racer and inventor Vince Warren came up with the idea of having a lever that would not break and cost him winning a race. Named after his likeness, for every V1 MDX lever sold, a portion of the proceeds go to The Vince Warren Estate!
- InVINCEible technology - Covered by patent 6,047,611; no other lever has this level of technology in it. No cables to break, just good solid hardware.
- Guaranteed - Sunline will back every V1 MDX lever with an unprecedented five-year warranty.
- Light - The V1 MDX lever weighs in at a svelte 123 grams.
- Manufactured to a tight tolerance to specifically fit O.E.M. application model perches.
Nice piece, stock rubber dust cover will not fit with this lever however ,the ASV cover works nice with it.
It's seems there's a long, growing list of bikes Sunline claims these clutch levers fit and they DO NOT. Just add 2005 RMZ450 to it. I bought a pair on clearance and the clutch side fits perfectly, so I'm leaving it on. There's now freaking way I'm grinding on it to try to make it work being a critical safety part.
No install issues, no fitment issues, and they work & feel awesome.
put it on a 2010 yz250f , i broke alot of oem style levers that were $20 a piece and i got the sunline V1 MXD and when i drop the bike now it pivots like it was designed to
these levers are bad azz we will put sunline levers on all of our bikes
Got a set of these for Christmas from my wife. Nice looking product but I needed brush guards to protect my hands and levers from branches and vines on the tight trails
Ive only used this on about 2 rides to the track but it works great. Havent fallen over on it yet but I have a clutch lever that is the same thing and it has gone through numerous wrecks and still works like the day I put it on. Definetly worth the money if you dont wanna worry about breaking your lever.
Great levers feel great on hands and very tough, I have these on all my bikes and they are a life saver when you crash worth every penny they end up paying for them selves in the long run I was at a race the other day and a guy was running around trying to find a brake lever I just looked and smiled
If you ride you should have something like these on your bike. A broken lever out in the woods is no fun. These levers give you just a little bit more confidence if you go down you can ride away
I think is nice, not only cause looks better on your bike, but is a lever that you can crash and dont brake due the system its have. Very recomended!
This product is a great idea and the first time I crashed with it on my bike it worked perfectly. However, it made my front brake feel mushy and no amount of bleeding could fix the problem. Going back to a stock-like lever solved the problem immediately and switching back to the V1 made the problem return. If you crash a lot or DNF a lot because of broken levers this is a product to look into but if you'd rather your brake feel like normal and risk crashing and breaking a lever I’d avoid the product.
I absolutely love this lever. The only downfall is that the stock rubber boot doesn't cover the lever correctly. Other than that the product does the job just as it states. I'll always buy a breakaway lever for every bike.
i got this for my 08 crf250r and wow!! it bolted right on and looks fantastic! the adjustability screw is an awesome design too! a must have for all dirtbike riders!
I've had myself a set of these levers for a few years now, when i installed them they fit perfect and look great. I've gone down on them plenty of times and they have never failed me. These will honestly save you a substantial amount of money considering an OEM brake lever can be up to 25 dollars and need replacement a few times a year depending on how you ride.
Bolted right on to my 06' RMZ450. So far this lever has been awesome. My buddy broke his ASV lever off and all mine did was stick up. little pop with the hand and it was back in place and ready to go. He said he wanted mine then.
I ordered this for an 09 crf450r, put it on and went for a ride and had it lock up my front brake landing on a 65 foot table top.
I tinkered with getting it to work but I have finally just given up and gone to an asv lever. I filed away at it several times but still had it lock up my brake.
For people buying for hondas, please be careful with this lever!! Ive heard it do this to several others and i learned the hard way that this lever needs work.
this is a very nice product worked great on my 2005 crf 250r without any problems. so i bought a set for my 2009 crf 450r and had to shorten the master cylinder push rod ( a $7.00 part) about 3-4 mm.i am going to call mfg. and ask about problem.
