Not all hardware is anodized aluminum

The mounting rods are only cheaply painted steel rods that almost "rub" off when you are installing the windscreen. I just finished putting mine on my VStar1100, I just hope this windscreen will hold up under the pressure of hiway speeds. I suggest if you're looking for a "CHEAP" windshield, buy this one, otherwise, save your money and buy one with a better mounting system. The plastic Tscrews that hold the thing in place, don't look like they will stay tight.

Those measurements are referencing what size handlebars you have. There are different clamp sizes available for different bar sizes.
