This is my second pair of these boots and I obviously love them. Once these boots are broken in I find them very comfortable to walking around in. When new the soles have a lot of grip on the road to prevent slipping when stopped. On my last pair the soles seemed to have lost that grip as they aged but nothing that made me feel unsteady. This pair the soles seem a little different so I'm hoping that problem was solved. Everything else about the shoe has stood up over time. I didn't "need" a new pair but more like "wanted" an new pair. Highly recommended shoe and I'll buy another pair when needed.

- The Doha (named after the Moto GP track in Qatar) boot is a low cut Sidi engineered boot.
- Doha utilizes the same insole as the Vertigo boot, a non-slip bonded sole, reinforced heel and toe cups, leather/Cordura upper, ankle ball protection, and a toe shift/brake guard.
I agree with other enthusiastic reviews about these boots. I often wear them around my shop, sometimes for 12-16 hours at a time and, whether riding or walking/standing, they are a very comfortable boot. I did have to eschew the included liner and install my own high-quality supportive liner/cushion (which also aided comfort) but the included liner would suffice for strictly short trips/track use. Easily rode from Phoenix, AZ to Las Vegas, NV and never had fatigue even when walking LV Blvd. all night long. Top notch footwear from Sidi.
These are probably the coolest boots/shoes for on or off the track. Look great, extremely tough. Love the fact that they look like high top tennis shoes, but offer substantial protection!
Here is a purchase I delayed for quite a long time,
having riden only cruiser style bikes lately.
With the sporty newcomer in my garage I couldn't decently -and safely- keep riding in sneakers.
The Doha boots are perfect fit to this tiny gear level
and brake finger. And I don't need to rush for an other pair of shoes as soon as ignition is off. I am completely satisfied and will tell you about durability in awhile!
soft rubber sole no good for urban motard, burned right through it, otherwise boot is great.
I have always been looking for a boot that had the necessar protection, but was also light enough and comfortable enough to walk around when not riding. This boot does that in spades. Sizing appears spot on.
