Ride Engineering makes good stuff

Fit perfectly, looks great, does what is should and was less expensive than OEM. I have used Ride Engineering parts on all my bikes now, and have not been disappointed with any of them, good stuff.

DOES NOT FIT

This clamp was listed as fitting a CR85, but it doesn't. The holes on the clamp don't line up with the holes on the fork guards, so I had to take a dremel and slot the fork guard holes and use different hardware to mount the clamp. Definitely more work than I wanted to do for a $30 clamp that should have bolted on in 5 minutes. Also, you have to cut off the rubber brake line protector so that the line would fit down the clamp. The overall quality, anodizing and engraving on the clamp was top-notch. Far better than those hacks at Applied Racing. Great product, assuming it will actually fit your bike.

Riding engineering brake line clamp

This brake line looks cool and it weighs like nothing compared to the stock clamp. I have one and it does make your clamp look really cool and it does weigh like nothing.

Ride Hose Clamp

4 stars if using with the stock brake line, 3 stars if using an aftermarket stainless steel line. The fit around the aftermarket line wasn't very good. It has held fine for 3 months but doesn't look very smooth.

Does this only come in red, and will it work on an 01 yz250 (your site says it'll fit)?

It's showing that Ride Eng. offers it for that bike so it should fit as long as you profile your bike correctly.

Is this the clamp that comes in the conversion kit for the Cr-style front brake line for an '01 YZ?

No, for your yz250 01 it's not going to be the CR style clamp.
