Renthal Dual Series combine the durability of the Renthal firm compound grips with the feel and absorption of the soft compound. Maximum durability is achieved by using the Renthal firm compound for the inner sections of the grip whilst rider contact areas uses the Kevlar® brand compound providing unbeatable comfort and control.

  • For use with twist throttle, includes left and right grip.
  • Base material is reinforced with millions of randomly aligned Kevlar® fibers; continued use exposes more fibers increasing the percentage of Kevlar® at the grip surface.
  • Three times the life of the regular compound allowing the use of a very supple matrix material.

Renthal has developed a special reinforced grip made with increased wear resistance. The grip has all the properties you would expect from a Renthal grip but with the life extending properties of KEVLAR® brand resin. The base material contains millions of randomly aligned KEVLAR® brand resin particles. As the grip is used more particles are exposed, so the number of particles at the grip surface increases.

Best all around grips made!

Used these for years. Best all around grip made. Good tackyness and they last a long time. Use the renthal glue, follow the directions and they stay put with no wire ties.

Great Grips!

I ride a 2001 Kawasaki KDX 200 and bought these grips with a pair of renthal handle bars. I have no complaints about them at all. They are soft enough to be comfortable to ride and are hard enough to last without wearing out. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for new grips to either replace old ones or upgrade from what you currently have.

Great Grip

I love these grips, they look awesome and feel awesome as well. my only complaint is that they get pretty dirty. The black from my gloves really made a mess of this things the first day I installed them and they don't come clean. I dropped the bike one time and tore a hole in the end also. I know it sounds like a complaint and it is, but I would still recommend these grips. They really do make up for it in the way they feel and look.

Should I get tapered or original grips?
Which type, tapered or original, would be best for woods and enduro riding?

MotoSportGrantK
It would really all depend on what feels best for you. The tapered will be slightly bigger at the beginning of the grip and taper down towards the end of the grip. If you haven't used a tapered grip before, I would recommend giving them a try and see how you like them.

These will fit if you have adult size handlebars on your CRF50. If you still have the OEM handlebars these are going to be too big.

These are the grips I personally use. They look fresh if you clean them with a good detergent. I personally use Simple Green and a brush and they continue to look good unitl they are worn out.

Does sand stick easily?
I ride in sandy conditions, and are these grips too tacky, and will they attract sand more?

I have had these grips on for a while now, they don't seem to attract anymore sand or dirt than any other grip.

I reccomend these grips!

Differnce in grips?
can you use twist throttle grips on a 4 wheeler with a thumb trottle
MotoSport Staff Expert
james718
No you can not. The left grip will be bigger in the inside diameter to accommodate the throttle tube. Also twist throttle grips have a taller inner thumb rest that would interfere with the thumb throttle lever.
2 years 6 months ago
Matt
No if you use these grips on a four wheeler you will find that one grip is larger than the other because it has to fit over the twist throttle on a dirtbike
2 years 4 months ago Location: Oregon, USA
kawi111
No because the right grip is a bit larger diameter to fit on the throttle tube, so the right grip would be to big for just quad handle bar.

Whats the difference between tapered and original?
MotoSport Staff
Over 7 years ago Location: Portland, OR
Drewski
The original grips are the same diameter of grip all the way through. The tapered grips basically go from being the thickest at the inner part of grip and then taper down to a standard size grip more towards the end of the bars.

orig. is a grip that is the same diamiter all the way from the flange to the end.

tapered is smaller at end and bigger at flange to make a better fit with your hand because your palm is bigger than your index finger area. hope this helps
