This is a universal kit that is made to be used on a wide range of motorcycles. It does not have a specific model fitment but you should not have any issues using it on your 2001 Suzuki sv650s. Modifications (cutting, drilling) may be required.
So how much modification are we talking here. drilling holes tapping holes.???? buying bolts.?
What does this mean (A few modifications?)

This will honestly vary depending on what bike you have and exactly where you are trying to mount it. After removing the stock fender on some models you may be able to utilize the original mounting holes to mount this. On some you may have to drill holes. Some models will require that you cut the stock fender as to not loose the undertail, and in this instance you would have to drill holes for sure. It will vary even more between models with underseat exhaust or low exhaust systems. This is really more for bikes that don't have a specific kit. For a few more bucks you can pick up a kit that is specific to your bike and will have the correct brackets and mounting hardware along with instructions for installation.

With this being a universal fender eliminator it is not specific to any bike. It can be made to work on a 2013 CBR500R but it will not be just a direct bolt on. Some modification will be required to make it work out.
