Nice but knobs chunk off

I love the grip of the scorpion tires and the knobbies dont wear out nearly as fast as other brands, unfortunately the knobbies chunk off quickly.. they break off right at the tire carcass. I ride a KX450F so I am sure that might not help the knobby chunk issue. The tires hook up incredible on intermediate terrain and even cause my bike to wheelie out of corners in the deep southwick sand.

Great & Lasts

Tire hooks great from sand, to loam, to a mixed terrain, even bites nice on hardpack as it has a consistent slip when it starts to break loose

Great performance tire

this rear as well as matching front tire came stock on my son's ktm 85 sx. he does minimal trail riding and track rides/races mid to mid soft surface 1 to 2 days a week bike has approx. 50 hrs. This tire still has great hook up and little wear, no chunks. looks like it should peform well through the rest of the race series, just purchased a new one for a backup.

The best!

Leave it in the sun for a little while and mounting is a breeze...and I use flat head screw drivers!! A little tough to set the bead but enough air in the tube does the trick...and if it goes flat, this tire will not spin off the rim! Tire life is great, wares extremely slowly.

Poor Wear

The 90/100-16 Rear on a KTM-105SX has good grip and handling. The tire after about 20 hours of trail riding has tread block tears and chunks coming out.
