Dry quick, strong bond

Put some new pro taper grips on my bime about 10 minutes before a ride. This glue bonded so fast, no grip twist or anything while ride. Held up very well.

Grip glue for real

Be prepared to install ASAP! This glue sticks fast, faster than it says but it works better than any other

Great glue

i got some of this pro taper grip glue and it works great. easy to use and if you do it right your grips wont ever slip off during a moto. i use to run moose grip glue but my grips would slip off and have me crash on a jump or taking agressive turns.

What can I say, it glues grips!

Gives adequate amount of time to get your grips on before it solidifies, once it's stuck, it's stuck for sure!

Works great

This glue works great. It sets up fast so you can ride the same day you put them on. No overnight setup!! I have had to literally cut my old grips off and wire wheel away what I couldn't get with a knife. You have to use plenty. Put rings of glue on the bars and some in the grip so it has plenty of (lube) going on. Work out any bubbles (quickly) and they are set to go in just a few minutes. I have never had a grip come loose.
Great product!!

This is the worst grip glue I have ever used. This stuff is garbage it sticks instantly if you get a small amount on your handlebar or grips. I destroyed a new pair of grips got them half way on and the glue dried

Not what I'd expect from ProTaper

The glue seems to hold up so far, but the big problem is how quick it dries... The second this goop reaches the fresh air it dries, not an exaggeration, I had to have two people help pull the grip on and it still only got halfway on. I've used Renthal glue on previous bikes, which I thought poorly of because of slippage, I decided to try ProTaper, big mistake. Save yourself the money and the hassle and go with Renthal.

Good as advertised

The Pro Taper Grip Glue is a great product. I followed the instructions on the bottle for application and the grips slid on like butter and gave me enough time to get them positioned were I wanted them before it dried. It does dry very fast so you need to determine how you want your grips positioned before you apply the glue or it will dry on you in the process.

Fast and secure

Pro Taper grip glue works very fast, and when done correctly and with safety wire usually holds until the grips are ready to be replaced. My only (minor) complaint would be that it sets up too fast. It's still my go to grip glue.

Great Glue, Worked Perfect

This was my first time using Pro Taper Grip Glue, it gave me plenty of time to adjust the grips once I got them on the bar. I will definitely use it again.

this is the worst glue you could Possibly use. i bought this thinking it would be good because it is protaper but I was wrong. when they say instant glue they mean it, when i tried to instal my grips the glue dried when the grip was less than halfway on, after a few tries i almost got one grip on and the glue started to MELT MY GRIP. to make it all worse i bought a new throttle tube and bars which were ruined by the glue. so all in all the "good glue" COSTED ME $100 and not to mention the $10 i paid for the glue, what a slap in the face.
after my ordeal with this glue i bought scotts glue and they went on without a problem, save yourself the trouble and do this first

Must Have

This glue is a must have when you purchase new grips. Within minutes, you'll be able to ride with your new grips. Be careful though, this glue drys really quick, not giving you a lot of time to slide your grips on. I'd recommend that you put the grips on without the glue first to stretch them a little, then take them off and apply the glue as needed. Or once the grips are on, roll them over and apply the glue with the grips on.

Grip Glue

A bottle usually lasts about a year. Keep it closed and upside down for when you need it. Be prepared to put it on. Technique I use. Can of hairspray ready. Put a fair amount on bar area, Hairspray grip, slide on keeping the area over the glue raised. Once grip is on, full rotation, and then wire wrap. Grips don't slip in 5 minutes or less.

Q: What is the temp rating?
2 years 11 months ago
I'm looking for. For glue that is rated for up to 250 degrees foe R my heaters
2 years 11 months ago
A: I can't tell you the temp rating but I can tell you that this glue did not work for my dirt bike grips. I used a lot of glue and it worked until I rode in the rain. The glue completely broke up and even my throttle grip was loose. Making it impossible to twist the throttle without gripping very hard.

A: I can't tell you the specific temperature rating but I have used this grip glue on my ATV's and snowmobiles with heaters and never had any issue with the glue melting or coming loose.
