Improved power delivery though out the whole engine range. Most noticable at mid high range. Great mod product if your looking to keep your bike mildly stock without busting your race budget. No additional engine mods needed to the engine. Im sure after 20 hours I will be rebuilding the head with a new piston because the extra pressure on the valve train will stress the stock valve springs to there max. Get an hour meter with it. Im sure 20 hours is the max if your racing the bike.

JD piston, and pin, with OEM Kawasaki rings, packaged as Pro Circuit piston kit! Not what I expected.
It give the bike high performance and acceleration to the bike
It was easy to install and once u run it my 08 rmz250 had a little more power than it did before and it changes te sound of ur bike to while if u ask me my bike sounds alot better now
I installed this kit in my 08 RMZ450 along with new Faction MX intake valves. The bike has more power all through the range, starts easier and I can ride the bike a gear taller in all situations.

Don't buy this! I bought this for my 2010 yz250f and I got the JE piston and the stock rings for it. The stock rings do not fit this piston. The JE piston is a two ring set up and the stock piston is a 3 ring set up so you cannot use the stock rings for it.
I put this piston in my old crf 450 (05) and noticed a good improvement over the stock piston. a day after i put it in though, i threw a keeper out of my right exhaust valve - my fault the valves were shot.
installed kibblewhite valves and springs. torque was incredible- almost tractor-like. with an exhaust as the only other motor mod, it was good enough to win me a trophy at the sand drags- 5 bike lengths on a cr500. definately worth the money and cheaper than a full exhaust system.
After installing this piston and riding one day, I couldnt feel much of a difference. It may be from me rejetting my bike incorrectly at the same time however. piston looks great and easy to install. just make sure you dont drop any piece into the crank case or lose any pieces.
I installed this piston in an 07 RMZ-250 after I just put an OE piston in 2 months earlier. Only did it to try and get more power (more of an experiment than anything). This Piston absolutely rocks, it has more power more torque, amazingly its easier to use the power thats there too. Installation was the same as any piston but the PC piston slid into the cylinder easier than the OE I thought. I have zero complaints on it. I am running supreme pump gas and it works great no pinging or misfiring. I did not mark any stars for durability because I only has a month or so of riding on it, however it seems to be just fine. For the tech guys when I measured the stock piston before installation it was 76.96mm and the PC piston was 76.98.
This piston performs amazingly well in my 07 yz 250f
i bought this when my stock piston was due for a swap on my yz250f. the motor revs more freely. it pulls alot harder than stock also. this will be the only kit i will buy from here on out.
Very nice piston. I do not think it is worth the money. A cheaper JE would have sufficed just fine. You are only paying for the name. Did exactly as any high comp piston would, more power all around.
put this in a '06 RMZ250 which seems to loose compression way too fast and burn oil. I'll give this product the benefit of the doubt because I believe the engine design is the main contributor to my problem.
Fit, finish, and dimensions (I measured them all) were spot on. They use stock Kawasaki rings I believe...watch out installing the cylinder, don't bend over the lower oil ring.

Great quality piston works well and makes good power seems to be top quality.
once you change to this piston you feel the power gain right away and improves the low end i think that it is the best for all around
premium pump gas (91-93 octane) will be fine
