Great product

This was recommended to me by a friend. He changes his oil after every ride and said he's reused this filter over 100 times. Just rinse it out with mineral spirits when you change your oil and let it dry.

Much better than disposable.

Not sure if the paper disposable filters or this stainless one is better or which one grabs more gunk, but this thing is awesome. Has paid for itself over and over. Never spend 10 bucks per filter change again. Eventually you will want to replace this one because the filter gets a bit morphed, but iv'e cleaned and reused this think at least 4 times and its still working great.

Great Filter

I've had this filter on my previous bike and it gave me zero problems. Works great. Definitely a money saver in the long run. Very easy to install, remove, and clean.

Good product

I got this because I change my oil every 3 to 4 hours of riding (give or take an hour) I like not having to buy a new filter every time I change my oil. it cleans easily with starting fluid or dawn dish soap and water

Does not fit properly

I bought this filter for a 2007 YZ 250F and even though YZ 250 F 98-12 is included on the label it will not fit. The OEM filter has more recess on the side facing in towards the motor which allows the cover to go on all the way and seal. With PC filter the spacing is off by a quarter inch or more.

Works Well

I've used this filter on my 07 CRF250R for about half a season and just bought a new one for my 15 CRF250R. Definitely makes oil changes easier and less expensive. I can make sure my filter is fresh at every oil change. I'm still not sure if this filter can catch the extremely small particles that a paper filter can though. Also the rubber o-ring on it doesn't seem to fit snug on the filter cover like the OEM paper filters do. Overall I would recommend this for more casual riders, not so much for a hardcore racer.

Great product

For anyone second guessing running the stainless steel oil filters worry no longer. I have been running one now for 7 years now on the same motor with no issues, the only reason I am replacing it is becasue the glue that holds it together has just started to give way. This has been a great product for my CRF450X and would recomend it to anyone.

Great Protection

I have used this filter for a whole season and no concerns or break down in product. Looks as good as day I got it from motosport. Just clean properly and blow clean from inside to out with air nozzle. Does not need alot of CFM just a little to make sure filter is dry and free of debris. You can also just clean and let air dry. Great product and great company.

PC Racing Flo Stainless Steel Oil Filter

Considering a new oil filter costs around $10, this is an obvious choice, especially if you ride 3-4 days a week. Offers the same, if not better filtration.

No more paper!

Never paying for a filter again, can't beat that. Once I installed it I saw what all the hype was about. Don't need any harsh chemicals, just a cup of warm water mixed with a little dawn does the trick.

Love this filter

I love this filter. Can change oil every ride with no worries of having new filter. Plus, I am not a paper filter type of guy. Get one and pay the price up front then relax because all is good.

Money Saver

Paper filters are in the past now. Stainless reusable ones are the way to go in my opinion. I have had mine in my 250f for over a year now with no problems. Goes in just like a regular paper one, and its simple to clean.

A: I would recommend cleaning it out with contact cleaner and an air compressor and then inspecting it to make sure there is not any left over debris before reinstalling.

Every oil change? Every-other oil change? I usually change the oil every 3 to 5 rides.

A: It is best to clean the filter whenever you change the oil.
YoungGun

A: I always clean mine after every ride. The more you clean the better the bike runs and lasts, but every other ride is sufficient as well. If you dont ride it hard you could probably get away with 3-5 rides

Q: Does this fit?
I'm wondering if this fits a 2003 Yamaha YZ250F. Reason why I ask is because it doesent look the same as my old one. The piece of rubber on the top in the picture looks smaller around and thicker that my last.
